The suite with lounge access is very good value for money. There were marvelous views from both our suite and the executive lounge overlooking all the way down the river past the dragon bridge and city. We preferred having breakfast in the lounge as it had a good variety and you could choose dishes from a menu. Afternoon tea was generous and alcoholic spirits and cocktails drinks in the evening were perfect. The staff are very attentive, friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable but a little on the firm side. Everything else in the suite room was really good (only slightly dated). The gym was well equipped. The food at the Terrace restaurant was very tasty. Thank you to the customer rekation manager for organising our departure transfer from the hotel to the airport.
We did not go to the pool as it was overlooked by the restaurant and didn't feel inviting. The lobby area feels somewhat disconnected and a underwhelming. The only downside was the location, the hotel is a little isolated on an island in the middle of the river. So any shops are quite a distance away. However, if you are looking to get away from the madness of the city then this hotel certainly is in the perfect spot.

Wonderful experience in Danang
We stayed at club level and this was better than expected. The check in was normal instead of in the club. Most other stays we have been greeted and escorted to the club level for welcome drinks while checking in.
Over all this was a great location and a very friendly hotel.
The GM was very engaging as were all the staff. The Privilege Club was very relaxing. The chef did a fantastic job with a broad menu for breakfast. The evening food was great as was the selection of drinks.
The management and staff make you feel very welcome.

This hotel is situated for a gorgeous view and is clean, modern and warm. We stayed longer than a week so we had long-stay privileges such as free laundry, discounted drinks and access to the lounge on the 21st floor. The staff on the 21st floor were fantastic particularly Ahn and Nguyen. They were both warm and friendly. Ahn has an excellent grasp of english and a great sense of humour. She was a delight to speak with and we were sad to say goodbye. If the hotel reads this I think Ahn would be an amazing concierge! Also a shout out for Huy who helped organize tours for us.
We had a week-long pleasant stay here in Grand Mercure Da Nang… most of the staffs are friendly and helpful..
Special thanks to the team at the 21st floor lounge who are very attentive, thoughtful, and kind to me and my family. Thank you Ms. Hong, Mr. Nguyen, Ms. Anh, and Ms. Ngoc, who have been very kind and friendly throughout our stay here… My family and I are very happy and delighted to have known you all… Ms. Hong has been very caring to our kids.. Mr. Nguyen even remembered what drinks we like.. we truly appreciate that.. Thank you so much :)
