Very noisy ground floor room and not clean

Cons:

The beds are very uncomfortable y room was really dirty. We got a ground floor room, the room is facing to street where everyone is waiting for a cap ( as reception is very small I guess people are in general outside ) all that noise is the room and it’s impossible to sleep. We have two kids, when we made the sofa bed we realized the sofa was not moved for a long time, all that dust and dirt gave allergies to my kids.
We didn’t know they don’t clean the room during your stay if you don’t stay for a week at least even though we got fresh towels, I think it’s important to know that before you go there. This was disappointing for us. The stuff is good the location is good the rest we didn’t like at all

Good apartments in walking distance from Edinburgh castle
Pros:

Great location, clean and very friendly staff. The kitchen had all we needed.

Cons:

Our room was just above reception hence quite noisy from people constantly arriving and departing, next time we’d ask for a room further away.

Very nice place. Highly recommended.

Very nice place. The apartment was perfect for us. I used the car park (also very nice).

Great location but the accommodation could have been better. That said we did have plenty of space.
Pros:

I liked the location. It was very easy to get around town.

Cons:

I didn’t like that the fittings were quite worn out and in poor repair. Door handles etc just not working very well for example. Also there were dozens of little fruit flies in the apartment. It wasn’t too bad but not pleasant either.
