Old fashioned charm
Shower control issues. I’m a plumber and it’s NOT right so please don’t tell me turn the mixing valve ‘the other way’
En la ducha, el agua caliente y fría iban a su ritmo, o te helaba o te salía el agua hirviendo.
La luz se fue varias veces.
Our stay was excellent to begin with; the hotel is in a good location, walking distance to everything, on a pretty quiet street. The hotel itself is an old neoclassical manor from the early 19th century that has been lovingly restored. The managers were very helpful and accommodating. I would have written a good review in any case, but – I think because we stayed multiple nights – we got a complimentary room upgrade to the adjoining guest house, which was fabulous! Thank you, Hotel Patritius – we loved our stay!
Breakfast starts at 8.30. This is quite late if you are not on vacation.
Excellent location, beautiful property, and helpful and friendly staff.
Breakfast was a bit expensive. Could do with a rail for the outside stepps.
Emplacement
Location was great. The breakfast was suburb. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Great location Good breakfast
We stayed at this hotel for two nights in May 2026. The Hotel is in the old city but is accessible via a motorable road. The taxi ride from the train station to the hotel was around Euro 16. We could walk to all attractions from the hotel
The hotel is a heritage building so rooms are very small. Ours was on a floor that is accessible by an elevator (all rooms are not). Our room had very low beams close to the bed and in the bathroom. We had to be very careful not to hit our heads on these beams (and we are not very tall). For some reason our bathtub had no shower curtain. This led to a lot of water spraying all over the bathroom floor.
Breakfast was served in a small room. However, the breakfast spread was very minimal. When I wife asked eggs can be prepared, the lady was kind of curt with her answer.
We would stay in this property if we ever return to Brugge.
Loved the room, breakfast and location
location was excellent as the main sights were easy to visit. I loved the old charm of the hotel.

Good value for money, great location, less than 10 minutes walk from the Belfort Tower and Markt Square. Very clean and a family run hotel.
