Nothing sadly
The floors were dirty, disrepair, poor hygiene. Slept with our clothes on and could not shower. Room picture online was misleading as the room my parents had was dirty. No one cared to help.
Location was ok
The hotel is very shabby, looks tired and old in need of a refresh.
Perfectly adequate for the price
Thermostat on my radiator was broken so couldn't turn it down
Good location for us to meet family.
Walls paper thin. Had room at front and a lot of traffic noise. Tv didn’t work but staff sorted this. Very basic breakfast. The building felt tiered and need of a lick of paint etc.

Seems run down and half closed , breakfast was poor, didn’t eat it , just left.
Bathroom stank.
People above me kept me awake till late.
It was a cheap cost for a night but from past experience this was not the same hotel
Location was good, easy access to the motorway.
The rooms were dirty, cob webs everywhere, the bath tub was black with mold and the enamel had all gone so just looked stained and dirty. The mattress wasn’t too uncomfortable but the pillows were terrible they were paper thin resulting in awful neck pain the last few days.
The walls were paper thin so you could anyone who walked past the room and people talking in the rooms.
The heating worked which was a bonus as it was chilly.
The toilet had feices left in there when we arrived, when flushing it just backs up and when the room next door flushes it backs up into our system side.. the smell was foul.
The bar lacked options and when finding something I wanted they didn’t have enough for one drink.
The chap who checked us in really seemed like he did not want to be there, wasn’t welcoming at all and not very helpful either.
Safe to say I would not return, this place needs some serious TLC and love put back into it.
It had parking
Room was in a poor state as was the rest of the hotel. It was really cold no heating and windows on main landings and doors left open all night.
I requested a invoice through booking.com also asked at reception when checking out and again by email the next day I still haven't got one so unable to claim it on business expenses
Easy access to motorway
When booked no mention of on going renovations, also no mention of lack of restaurant availability
No lock on the room door it had broken. Bloodstain on one of the pillows, double bed but only 3 pillows for two people. Windows open but workmen arriving and cleaning the drains absolutely stank. Reception not welcoming when arrived and was completely unaware of our arrival even when calling for assistance. Website said £56 for double room but ended up paying £64. Not worth that, their wifi is unreliable too. Overall very disappointed
Breakfast was cereal , toast, small packets of yoghurt, fresh fruit, packs of pain d chocolate. Poor and cheap.
I was the only one at breakfast
The room was situated outside the main building and on the ground floor, the view was lovely overlooking fields, but the room was dusty & needed updating as wallpaper was falling off. The bathroom was peach, the toilet seat needed fixing. The shower the water was hot.
The bathroom needed a good clean and needed to be removed. It looked awful.
When I checked in the staff member was not welcoming.
The location was good was near Lidl and M4.
You could hear people coming and going, but not many people were staying.
I noticed in the main building there was comfortable areas to sit & a large room for parties.
I used the toilets near the glasshouse where breakfast was served and the toilets were poor and in need of a update.
There was a large car park and near the bedrooms.
The hotel said it had updated some bedrooms, but I was put in a poorly made one.
You go through a door to enter the main areas and the carpet was black with stains.
If new customers are coming to your hotel for the first time, you put them in a good room.
I will never book this hotel again, it's the Travelodge again.
It looked so nice when you drive up, but the rooms were very bad.
I only booked this hotel as I was travelling from Cornwall and felt ill on the way home. I needed to rest.

This property has gone down hill. New owners, it now smells and is dirty.
In my dirty room I tried to sleep on the stained sheets. Water started pouring through the ceiling. After 20mins of trying to wake someone up. A very upset man with bad English reluctantly came to look after he asked me if I want him to bed. I said no and that I needed a new room. He came back with keys for a smaller and not cleaned room and said for me to deal with it myself as he was tired. I started to move my things and both doors closed on me. Leaving me outside. After 20mins of him not waking up again and no one helping me I had to stay I. My car until breakfast. No apologies, no help. I complained to booking.con who offered a 10% refund and have ignored me since.

It all seemed okay to me.
Very run down. TV didnt work, hairbrushes and other items left in windowsill from previous guests. Heard every toilet flushimg in the building. Obviously had long stay guests staying, very loud and unwelcoming
