Great short stay in Newcastle
Pros:

Location was nice and close to city and river walks.

Cons:

Attentiveness of staff wasn’t always good. I arrived and noticed staff chatting to other guests in lounge. She noticed me, but when finished chatting she walked away … picked up a pen from the floor … took it out the back … went to the restaurant area and eventually returned to reception and asked me if she could help.

Car park is too small for the hotel and the alternative locations are either inconvenient or expensive.

Good value hotel next to the river and close to the centre of town
Pros:

We liked the location next to the river and a short walk to the centre of town. Loved the strong water flow of the shower.

The rooms have paper-thin walls. The couple next door were having ridiculously loud sex and left the TV on until 3 in the morning.

Pros:

Staff were friendly. Bed was pleasant enough

Cons:

Air con did not work properly at all, so was too hot
The trickle vents in the windows let in a lot of noise, luckily the road was closed outside
Curtains weren't great at blocking light, very light overlap.
Very basic feel hotel, surprised leonardo would put their name on this.

Very good location and overall excellent quality of service.
Pros:

Very nice and clean room. Very close to quayside area.

Cons:

Small parking lot for all the guests cars. We had to park by the road as suggested by receptionist.
