Pros:

I stayed three nights at Scandic Paasi. The location is excellent and the bed was comfortable, but overall the experience didn’t match the price. The chairs in the room were visibly stained, and the carpet in the hallways looked worn and poorly maintained.

The breakfast was very diverse, but the quality was disappointing: the eggs had no taste, the bacon was low quality, and there was no fish offered — something you would normally expect in Finland.

If you’re not very picky, the hotel is acceptable, but for around €147 per night I expected a higher level of cleanliness and a better-quality breakfast.

Cons:

We changed our plans and arrived at the hotel one day earlier. Even though we checked in late, around 8 PM, there was no special rate or adjustment offered for the additional night.

Lovely hotel and very helpful staff in a central location. A short walk to Kallio or the city centre.

Cons:

We paid for the cheaper twin rooms so the outlook was not great and the room not huge but no complaints from us as we got a good deal

Pros:

We had a really good stay here in Helsinki. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location worked perfectly for us. It was about a 15-minute walk from the central train station, which meant it was a bit quieter, but still close to plenty of bars and restaurants. We’d happily stay again.

Pros:

Praktiskt läge för att kunna ta sig in till Helsinki city med nära till mataffär och kollektivtrafik.
Vänligt bemötande av personal, rymlig lounge att hänga i vid entrén.

Cons:

Hotellet saknade bastu, men blev erbjudna att använda en på ett närliggande Scandic hotell. En aning svårt att justera ventilationen i rummet och tv:n var av en äldre modell med huvudsakligen finskt utbud.
