Great Hotel
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Klettur on our first night before we went on our tour and on our last night. The room was clean. We had a small fridge in our room which was much appreciated. Reception was very helpful with our questions. I reccommend.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

We travelled with friends and used the hotel as a base for exploring. The hotel is basic and clean, with a pleasant breakfast to start your day. The staff were very helpful and friendly and ensured we could have breakfast before our really early flight home. Happy hour in the bar was great after a long day exploring. Would definitely stay again.

there is not tissue paper in the room and the beds are very soft. The hotel itself is located in a quiet area. There are 2 great supermarkets close by. Not many tour buses will have this hotel location as a default pickup point.

Very comfortable and accommodating

I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Klettur. My room and the accommodations were very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well. The staff was amazing! My reservation included a Daily breakfast that was very enjoyable. The location was Perfect! Great shopping and restaurants nearby. I would absolutely recommend Hotel Klettur for anyone who is traveling to Reykjavík Iceland!

Great place
Pros:

In general the stay was so nice, the crew helped a lot with information, service, and safety.

The only thing that I suggest to improve is the ingredients for breakfast, more vegetables and fruits could help

I had a great experience at Hotel Klettur. I went to Iceland for the first time to celebrate my birthday and was very pleased with the location, cleanliness, quiet, and friendliness of the staff. Two thumbs up! They even acknowledged it was my birthday when I arrive <3.
The view out of the hallway window was wonderful. The room and bathroom were comfortable (MUCH more comfortable than the room I had in my next stop in Copenhagen), the complimentary breakfast was good. Refrigerator, phone, and hair dryer provided. Also, we had a VERY early taxi to the airport when we left and asked about getting some food the night before--they opened the breakfast room (not the full breakfast offerings of course but enough) at 4 a.m. to help us out. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Still a good location
Pros:

We have stayed at Klettur since it was new. The service is as warm as ever, while the hotel has shifted to more of a bus tour vibe, with reduced bar offerings and a pretty basic breakfast and good coffee, a pretty rare thing. Communication through the online checkin process was onerous. The actual human staff was great. The room was tired.
