Views but whatever.
The terrace (which has the best views and is in all their marketing photos) is off limits to guests, unless you pay $$$$ to have dinner there.
Been traveling through Italy for a month and this is the first hotel that did not share information about how to get to the property. They did share information about making dinner reservations at their terrace a day before (sigh). After a full day in Pompeii, we reached Sorrento train station and could not find taxis or buses to get to this place. We called reception multiple times to figure out what to do and it took them a while to answer, then, instead of sending us a taxi or a shuttle or SOMEthing, they made sure to mention that we have to pay for the taxi, and offered a phone number. While we'd been on the streets for 2 hours and had communicated our frustration.
The worst part for me was when we finally got to the hotel around 8:30pm, we were greeted with staff yelling at us, being defensive!! one dinner wait staff with blonde hair and beard mocked us, rolled his eyes and muttered things in Italian to the receptionist *right in front of our eyes*. I've never encountered vile customer service like this anywhere else in the world.
While trying to find a taxi, we saw several other hotel shuttles picking up and dropping off their own customers. Not Tonnarella, no.
Sunrise is at 5 am, their "beach", which you have to pay extra for, opens at 9am =)
All this would be irrelevant if this was a normal €200 hotel. After paying close to $500 a night to stay here, I was expecting a much more carefree, pleasant experience. I don't know.. maybe conditioner and lotion in the bathroom? A kettle or coffee maker in the room!? Absolutely outrageous.

Amazing room and views of Sorrento, every detail of the hotel is just stunning. It feels so dreamy having a balcony room and the hotel is small and peaceful. All the hotel aesthetics are just incredible, it is worth every cent.
Breakfast could have been slightly better or offered more options.

We had the bedroom in the attic, so my husband, being 6’5 spent the whole time in there stooping, couldn’t stand up in the shower either
La struttura è bella: ha un terrazzo mozzafiato dove si può cenare a lume di candela, il ristorante è ottimo con un personale davvero gentile e disponibile e la spiaggia privata è davvero paradisiaca, consiglio vivamente la struttura a chiunque voglia rilassarsi e trascorrere un fine settimana in coppia o in famiglia.

The hotel, the location, the view from the terrace, the wonderful staff, the delicious restaurant with a view for dinner, the cozy, beautiful beach. I fell in love with Sorrento and will definitely return.

Tolle Lage (irre Aussicht) und sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal. Zimmer waren sehr sauber.
Auch der Fussweg nach Sorrento Zentrum ist gut machbar.
Frühstück war nur befriedigend. Jede Menge Kuchen (der ja gut war), Eier und Obst OK, aber haben schon besseres gesehen.
Frischer Orangensaft und gegen Omelette nur gegen Aufpreis.
