Was comfortable snd at home and apart from the issue of the noise from the adjoining room.
Pros:

Room was clean and staff very friendly, superb location. Restaurant on property. Relatively decent breakfast. Front desk staff were very accommodating with check-in and check-out times.

Cons:

Room next door had tv on all night and the sound came through the adjoining wall keeping me awake all night.

Pros:

A mixed experience that didn’t live up to our expectations and we felt was not very good value for money.
Pros:

Historical building with lots of character. Bedroom very spacious with a comfortable king bed.
Breakfast choice was very good and cooked food was done to a high standard.

Cons:

Bathroom fittings were not all well maintained - the shower temperature control wasn’t working (end of piece that should turn to regulate temperature fell off in my hand) and the water was so hot I could barely manage to shower. Water also leaked onto the floor under the screen.

It’s location.

Cons:

The continental breakfast wasn’t good value for money. I would have liked Croissants or pastries, however there wasn’t any left and I didn’t really want a cooked breakfast as I was travelling home that day and I’m not a good traveller. So all I could have was a bowl of cereal. I asked if there was any more croissants, but was told ‘no they’ve all gone’. It wasn’t like we were late down to breakfast either.

Exceptionally helpful staff who were able to accommodate us at such short notice after having to leave our previous accommodation at Days Inn - that was so awful!

Very enjoyable comfortable stay in a great location .
Pros:

Room was very comfortable .
evening meal was delicious and breakfast very good too .
Lovely welcome from reception .
Service at breakfast was slow due to only one member of staff being avaialable for a full restaurant.

Cons:

Service at breakfast -more staff would have been helpful.
A tea and coffee machine would be good .
And ordinary granola.
A bedside table on both sides of the bed would be preferable for drinks etc .
