Great place to stay when visiting Salisbury
Pros:

Nice and clean, roomy bar area and the feel of a good hotel

Cons:

Nothing, it was good with good sized rooms and 10 min walk from town
Staff need to be a bit more upbeat- there is lots of competition and it just felt functional rather than warm and friendly

Great location and beautiful room
Pros:

We stayed for one night whilst touring the South East. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Our room was beautifully decorated throughout with a great wet room. Towels really soft and fluffy.
We had dinner outside due to the heat. There were a number of options on the menu and great value. Our waitress was very attentive throughout.
Breakfast is buffet style and the staff are happy to assist with various variations of cooked eggs to your liking.
The car park is chargeable. Make sure to register your vehicle at reception upon arrival.
You can walk from the hotel into town within approx 10 mins. Straight down the street.

Pros:

The staff are friendly, room was cleaned well.
Location is good, refurb is bringing the hotel up a few notches from my first stay a few years back.

Cons:

Hotel is undergoing a refurb ..I had no hot water for the three nights of my stay.
Unsure if this was due to refurb work or boiler fault.
Staff dealt with it as well as they could but they were full for the duration so I couldnt move rooms.
