The location and estate is well kept and picturesque.
The Michelin Star restaurant was very disappointing... one month in advance and prior to booking I asked if it possible for the kitchen to cater for pescatarian and dairy free. They said of course and no problem!
On the night I was served 3 of the 5 dishes on the degustation menu with the same extremely bland beurre blanc sauce (butter based). After the second time, I mentioned to the waiter that I'd had enough of the sauce as it was starting to make me feel a bit unwell... he went on to let the kitchen know, however the chef couldn't have cared less and served the exactly same tasteless butter sauce one more time on the next meal.
Given we only came and stayed at the residence to enjoy an acclaimed fine dining meal, it was much lower quality that it is described.
I'd advise not to book if you have any dietary requirements as it is obviously something the kitchen doesn't care to accommodate adequately, sorry to say!
Friendly stuff. Good location. Good restaurant.
No airconditioning.
Unser Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage.
Excellent food. Very nice spa to relax at end of day
