Breakfast was good. Apart from the flies.
Room was very hot. No AC. One fan. Asked for another one and was told only one per room.
Dinner on the Friday was a disaster as only had our starter when the kitchen had a burst pipe so no more food.
That was not their fault but the way we were told by a waitress was basically that's it sorry no more food.
No offer or gesture when checking out of allowance for the missed meal.
The flies were a massive problem. They were everywhere. again it might just be the area but there must be some way to combat them.
Rooms were great and newly decorated.
Just the flies - sat inside and outside and there were dozens and dozens of them, that’s the only criticism - maybe get some of those Zap lamps set up.
We loved the bedroom, it was a big and comfortable bed. We also loved the powerful shower and modern bathroom. Everything was very clean and tidy, and we appreciated the welcome drink and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, each aspect was of very high quality. We would definitely stay here again, great value for money.
The room was spacious and you couldn't hear the party going on outside
Unfortunately during our stay a water pipe burst and therefore the kitchen was out of action from then on and the water was turned off. Information on what was happening wasn't communicated very well and it was other guests who told us the problem was fixed later that evening

A lovely place to stay with beautiful large rooms, very tastefully decorated, looked like they had been recently done. No air con so with the very warm weather, I and my dog struggled a little bit, but a fan had been provided which helped somewhat. The doggie treats etc were a lovely welcome surprise. Great facilities in the room including a fridge which again was very useful. Bed extremely comfortable. Lovely breakfast with good choice. Great service from the staff. Lovely that all parts of the hotel are dog friendly.
On the negative side, my bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous occupant. Unfortuantely the pub had had a burst water pipe just prior to my arrival, so no water to have a shower, wash etc (after a very hot day travelling in the car!), the restaurant had to be closed so no food available, however, the water problem was remedied within a couple of hours thankfully but this was 10pm. Obviously something that was unavoidable and dealt with very swiftly. The main drawback (and which might put me off staying again) was the loud outdoor disco on both nights of my stay where private parties were being held. I had to shut my windows and stay in my room (in 30+deg) as the music not to my taste, so my hope of sitting in the pub garden with the dog and a glass of wine was not to be! This should be stated on the website or on Booking.com so that people are aware of this prior to booking.

The staff were superb. We arrived late because the ferry was late. They waited for us and phoned to check that we were OK? Complementary drink was a lovely touch.
Breakfast was great, cooked to order as well.
Room was large.
There was not a single thing top fault.

There was a burst pipe in the kitchen so no food available. We were given free drinks to compensate and they offered to get us a table at nearby hotel for dinner .
In the morning they cooked us a great breakfast at 11am ( after park run) despite breakfast being 8-10 am

The UK heatwave has exposed the inability to keep the venue cool. The room, in particular, was very hot.
The property was easy to access and the food at the restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly
