Pros:

Friendly staff, good food, plenty of parking, very comfortable. Pricy when we stayed but that was because it was weekend of Goodwood FoS.

Cons:

Very hot period and no air con, but Dyson fan was supplied and was on before we arrived.

Clean and well presented, but not value for money
Pros:

Very well presented. Super clean and staff were friendly

Cons:

Bed was on wheels and moved so easily, the bed is also too small and the fan provided really didn’t make a dent in how hot our room was, so sadly this did ruin things for us. We felt for the price we paid it wasn’t up to expectations as id expect a better form of cooling / air con.

More than a pub with rooms.
Pros:

Friendly, clean, nicely kept property. Very good, spacious rooms. Nice welcome from attentive staff. Excellent outdoor and indoor dining. Well located for Goodwood - just a 30/40 minute drive. Ample parking with good spacing.

Cons:

Nothing.

A very pleasant atmosphere in the pub with very friendly staff.
Pros:

The staff were excellent - very helpful & friendly. A good location for us to get to the wedding we were attending.

Cons:

The decor & lighting in our rooms was very dark & difficult to see to do make up etc. Drinks were extremely expensive.

Pros:

Staff were lovely as were the rooms

Cons:

We struggled to cool the rooms in the exceptional heat, but hard for the hotel to control that. As a preference I would prefer a firmer mattress, but the bed was huge so that was good.

Wonderful Sunday lunch after a long walk!
Pros:

Visited the Hampshire Hog today for lunch after an 8 mile walk around QECP. We parked up outside then walked down to the park… took 2.5 hours to complete then back to the Hampshire Hog for a very welcome cold cider followed by a wonderful roast lunch. The starters were wonderful and I liked the fact I had an option to chose a smaller roast lunch which was just delicious.

The place looks amazing and the staff extremely attentive especially Richie.

Thank you for a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back!

Staff, location and cleanliness lovely. Fullers who own the pub need to invest in air con. Even if it’s portable aircon.
Pros:

It was a very hot time granted. But the rooms were not ventilated. The windows could hardly open and the fan they had put in the room was of negligible use. In this day and age there is no excuse not to have an aircon unit in the rooms.

Cons:

The staff were exceptional.
