Rooms pretty nice and beautiful old building.
The room I had was nice but right by the door into the wing. A bit noisy.
Breakfasts were perfect, rooms were very comfortable and staff were super helpful.
Refill on the room coffee would have been nice, at one point seemed like some drunk people were making noise in the hallway. Also, for the "premium" room, the bathtub seemed a little small compared to the large corner one in the picture. If I had known there was different layouts for them I doubt id have paid the extra. Also the lift had a sign up citing maintenance issues, which would have been helpful instead of having to haul my suitcase up the stairs with my walking stick.
Location, very friendly staff, breakfast very good with plenty of choice
Bathroom was a bit tired and needed to be updated, shower went all over the place and made floor wet. Had to request a clean dry bath mat every day. No heated towel rail to dry out towels after use, toilet seat loose.
Lift was not working.
Stayed here many times over the years .

This time they must have had staff shortages at breakfast . Not even many in .
No milk no bread no cups one girl up the wall trying keep it all together .
Cooked food bin sat there a good while .

Bath water pressure that low took a hour fill bath up .
Rang reception to tell em I’d be a bit late checking out due to this. And was ignored .

Location fabulous, room very clean and comfortable. Too many stairs to the room, would have asked for a room nearer reception area.

Location was great, staff very friendly and welcoming.
During one evening could hear hammering and drilling/ electric screw driver being used! This went on until 01.30 in the morning. I did bring it up with reception staff and they would look into it. They said it wasn't work they were carrying out. Couldn't say where it was coming from but didn't hear anything the following nights.

The position of the hotel is great for the beach and shops along the sea front with plenty of places to get food
