This is the third time we have stayed in this hotel. We have nothing but the utmost praise for every aspect of this establishment, hence the reason for returning.. On this occasion we enjoyed a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis .Our room was on the first floor[we had requested this when booking} The room was spacious with an extremely comfortable king size bed, complimented by a beautiful bathroom ,all linen was crisp, white and soft. Breakfast was taken in the restaurant .A plentiful selection of cereals ,fruit juices , fruits, A full cooked breakfast to follow plus toast, preserves, pastries, tea and freshly brewed coffee. Brilliant friendly staff - everyone so helpful - a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting.WE WILL BE BACK. Thankyou for a lovely brrsk
Very nice character hotel in good setting. Well furnished.
Location,food.
First room was unacceptable, dirty bathroom.
Decor and carpets tired.
Could do with more staff especially reception.
My final bill showed an overcharge which held up my departure.
A fine place with comfy beds.....the staff were absolutely fantastic and a credit to the hotel, food was very nice and well presented, great parking and lovely views from the terrace. 11am checkout is great and although we stayed in the small double which is the budget end of things the rooms were lovely with a great bathroom. These days to get a one night stay is fantastic.
Small doubles are up 3 flights of stairs but hey, its an old building!, and the full English breakfast could have done with more than 1x sausage and 1x bacon for £17 but considering the room price its fair enough.
It was beautiful and scenic, lovely location, lovely rooms and interior. Staff was incredibly friendly
Nice place to stay overnight whilst travelling on M5. Lovely old building, nice clean well decorated up to date room. Evening meal was very good and the staff were all lovely.
Great little hotel. Very clean and tidy.Staff were so helpful and their attitude was genuine concern for their customers.Would definately stay here again
Beautiful scenery bundling with character
Was very clean
The kettle was rusty from inside could do with a good clean or replacement, otherwise everything else was very good standard bathroom was very clean.and lovely
Lovely quiet hotel with good sized rooms. The staff were very friendly. Convenient location for Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. Reasonable value - booked through Trivago but it may be worth checking booking direct as the hotel offers a breakfast deal.
The room was specious and clean with everything one needs.
The restaurant was good although the menu was a bit limited.
The staff were absolutely great - helpful, attentive and cheerful.
We'd go again.
Everything, we was with you for a funeral of our best friend, the hotel made it a better experience. Would love to come back under better circumstances
Nothing
The views and food were very good.
The mattrass on the bed was not very comfortable.
Hatton Court is a little gem which overlooks the rolling hills of the cotswolds. I was visiting from America and was craving a traditional English roast dinner and had heard rave reviews about chef Richard who did not underdeliver. I treated my mother daughter and friend to the most fabulous Sunday lunch I have ever tasted which was presented beautifully. There’s an extensive wine list that you can take your time to enjoy and have fun choosing from the fine selection of wines. The staff were courteous, responsive, and friendly. Overall outstanding experience thoroughly enjoyed in the most beautiful very english surroundings.
A beautifully situated hotel, when you arrive its feels grand and elegant. Which it is and at the same time feels friendly and cozy. Incredible views, attentive and friendly staff, the room was comfortable and newly refurbished. We stayed for dinner, and food was excellent. We will definitely visit again!
This is nit picking, thr decking is a little tired and could do with renovation.
Yet another lovely stay at The Hatton Court. Comfy spacious room with far reaching views over the Vale of Gloucester. All amenities were laid out well in the room, making life easy. Staff always attentive and pleasant with a good choice of food on the menu. Great outside seating terrace and comfortable bar area.
Would definitely stay there again
