One of Torquays older Hotels but that said the room was clean tidy and the furniture in good condition as was the decor the bathroom looked recently refurbished and was excellent with a double size shower, the breakfast that was included was good, The staff I encountered were all pleasant and booking in easy with parking included in the price. All in all I only stayed the one night but the Hotel ticked all the boxes and I would book again if in the area.
Maybe a 7.30 start for breakfast instead of 8 but only a small quibble
Friendly staff, comfortable and superbly clean room. Busy with coaches but a lovely atmosphere. Singer and bingo wete on. Easily accessible beer garden. Will stay again.
Being given a time for breakfast on check in, not advised when booking or wouldn't have selected with breakfast.
There was not much to like about this property, I have never given a negative review before, but this was one of the most awful hotels I have stayed in and won’t return
The hotel, is unclean and smelt, the room had black mould on the walls, the bathroom was filthy, the furniture was dated and broken, the lift didn’t work and the eggs at breakfast looked like they had been cooked a week ago

Shame there wasn't coffee (only tea bags) in the room.
No big deal though.
Messaging regarding breakfast was confusing.
Was told it was sitting at 08:00.
A slightly earlier timing would have suited.
Headed down at 07:40 to find service in full swing.
It was a nice location and the decor was acceptable but not OTT.
It would be nicer to have real coffee and the breakfast cereal etc laid out better
