The staff are nice . Good location. Price is good.

Cons:

The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. The light switches were not clean. The carpet in the hallway on that floor was in terrible condition. First floor, near the entrance to rooms 108/9.

Interesting East Jerusalem location
Pros:

I liked the meals included in the rate. It made it easy for me. The place is central and surrounded by shops.
Staff are helpful and friendly. Groups stay there as a tour base.

Cons:

It was a bit noisy at night. The building is old and the air-conditioning audible.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and I absolutely loved the place!

It’s an amazing place for those who appreciate a classic look and enjoy peace and quiet. The atmosphere is peaceful, and everything is kept so clean and neat. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was definitely worth the money!

Another great advantage is the convenient location. You have easy access to Jerusalem’s holy sites and all kinds of shops, with everything just a 2–10-minute walk away.

Nothing.

Cons:

Hotel dirty..bed linen dirty. Only 4 channels on tv. No cable tv. Walls whit mold. First room they give shower wasn't working.they change the room. Was bad like the other one. Breakfast really bad. Have to ask for everything.no soap on shower.balcony really dirty. Carpet outside room damage.i have photos of everything. I would like some reimbursement.for this terrible place.

Dear Booking.com Customer Support,
I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding my stay at National Hotel
Please note that I am NOT requesting a room relocation. Due to the severe inconvenience, deceptive practices, and unacceptable safety and service standards, I am demanding a FULL REFUND of the booking amount, along with ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL COMPENSATION for the distress and misrepresentation experienced.
I explicitly chose and booked this hotel primarily for its gym facility. Upon arrival, the gym was locked and marked as closed. However, I could clearly hear two people inside playing and using the equipment. When I asked the staff to open it, they claimed it was "under maintenance"—which was blatantly false. If any facility were truly under maintenance, it should have been explicitly declared on your platform before booking.
In addition, the property failed across almost every basic service and safety aspect:
Unacceptable Parking Conditions: The parking area is in a terrible condition, poorly located, and surrounded by piles of trash and debris, which is completely inappropriate for any hotel.
Extremely Bad Breakfast: The breakfast was of shockingly poor quality and completely unacceptable.
Incorrect Room Layout: I booked a family room, but was given three separate single beds instead.
Dangerous Shower Glass: The glass shower door is completely detached from the bottom and only held from the top. It is unstable and could detach or fall at any moment, posing a severe safety hazard.
In-Room Safe Not Working: The electronic safe is completely out of order.
Hygiene & Basic Amenities: No shampoo was provided, and the shower head is dirty, rusted, and clogged.
Because the hotel lied about its facilities, failed to provide the primary amenity I paid for (the gym), and delivered an overall terrible and unsafe experience, I expect Booking.com to process a 100% full refund PLUS additional compensation for these damages.
