It is very close to the historic city centre of Edinburgh, perfect to go and explore quickly and the private car park at the back is a nice perk. Very easy to check in and out.

Friendly and helpful staff, plus convenient parking and bus access, but the building itself felt tired and run down.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. They allowed us to park before check-in, which made arrival much easier.
The hotel is right next to a bus stop, and they provided a useful bus information card. After our long roadtrip, they kindly let us into a closed banquet area so we could use the toilet.

Cons:

The hotel felt run down overall. The rugs were worn and gave the place a tired look. The shower soap came in small plastic packets, more like fast-food condiment packets than hotel toiletries. Getting three heavy bags up the stairs to the second floor was difficult.

Si è a due passi dal centro ma sembra di stare in campagna dietro l'Hotel ho incontrato una volpe e se ne andava a spasso fra i giardini. camera piccola ma accogliente. Biancheria del letto pulita e morbida.
In 3 minuti di autobus sei nella Old Town e in 3 minuti a piedi raggiungi il castello scendendo alla fermata South Bridge

Cons:

La pressione dell'acqua nella doccia era un po' bassa veniva poca acqua.

Comfortable beds. Good sized room. Parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Could do with a better clean, skirting boards in the bathroom, milk spray marks on the wardrobe. Difficult filling the kettle in the sink. Maybe a smaller kettle?

The property was right next to a bus stop and it was relatively quiet throughout the night.

Cons:

Location was a bit far away from the main sites. Housekeeping only came once during our stay and only switched out 2 hand towels and nothing else. No breakfast even though it’s advertised on the website. Multiple times we had someone try to get in our room

Cons:

Reception staff member was very blunt. Hallway and room had unpleasant smells. Bed is only a double. No fridge or microwave. No laundry facilities or onsite restaurant/room service
