Cab pickup service that hotel collaborates with can be more punctual
Quarto confortável e limpo. Equipe muito simpática e prestativa. Excelente experiência. Também fica em uma parte mais silenciosa da cidade.
Amabilidad
Nada, todo bien.
Excelente hotel.
The staff are accommodating, will let you store bags of out of the city for a trip
Breakfast is good and plentiful
The bedding is good quality and the bed is big and comfortable
We’ve stayed at this hotel three times and this was the worst of the three rooms unfortunately. Rm 106 has a pump located in the floor outside the room in the courtyard and makes noise through out the night, which kept us awake. The blackout curtains don’t pull closed completely, so the room is bright all night due to the courtyard lights and make it hard to sleep.
There is a postcard left in the room saying you can buy the dressing gown but there isn’t one in the room in the first place.
The extra blanket (which is needed as it’s cold) was moth eaten and filled with holes
Lovely hotel. We’ve stayed here three times during our trip in Peru. The first time was in Rm 203, a superior double. It was spacious and comfortable. Fridge came stocked with some free drinks. Dressing gowns provided in this room too. Bed was big and comfy. It’s a bit cold, so the extra blanket was welcomed. Refillable water included too. Good location close to main square but far enough away to be quiet.
Breakfast room is cold and hotel room on the cold side too. There is a plug in heater provided and extra blanket but come wrapped up. It is the Andes however and this seems to be standard in all accommodation we’ve stayed in
We moved into a standard double room (Rm 202) for our second stay here and it was a good size. The bed is big and comfortable. The blanket is welcomed as it’s cold in the Andes!
Breakfast is plentiful and good.
The staff let us store our baggage for free until we returned from our Machu Picchu trip, which was very helpful.
A few small points:
- the toilet roll holder is in an odd position opposite the toilet, so you have to get toilet roll ready before you start!
- no hair conditioner, had to request it
- no dressing gown (unless you are in the superior room)
- interior courtyard window with a bright light outside. There are blackout curtains but they don’t reach across whole window, so the there is light in the room during the night. We had eye masks so was ok but worth noting if you are a light sleeper
- as its courtyard facing on both sides of the room (door and window) you can hear people coming and going if they’re noisy) including cleaning staff in the morning. Possibly not the best room in a lovely hotel
Lovely staff, huge room & even bigger bed! Very clean & comfortable. Nice little touches such as a cookie on arrival - chocolates on the bed with turn down service l. Option that have a massage in your room. Location also very handy.
Ubicación excelentes
Habitación cómoda
Desayuno básico
- the prices seem to vary and we were lucky to get a great deal
- Quiet location within short walk of main square
- spacious room
- great shower
- staff at reception were always helpful and friendly
- best breakfast we’ve had in Peru - includes eggs to order - I recommend the ham and cheese omelette (not al all greasy)
Muy amable personal y la habitación por dentro era muy bonita y cómoda
La zona del patio y exteriores podrían ser mejorados
Todo
No tengo nada que decir en contra. Al contrario, súper amables
We returned to this hotel again because of its great location, friendly staff, early breakfast, and quiet atmosphere. This time we had a different room, which unfortunately had no windows, but overall it was still a comfortable stay.
There was no window in the room
Friendly helpful staff, it’s a well maintained property in a good quiet location with comfortable beds and facilities. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing to complain about.
Great location, friendly staff, and very good breakfasts starting from 5 a.m., which was perfect for early tours. The hotel was quiet — we couldn’t hear the train or the road. We were also able to leave our luggage for more than 24 hours while visiting Machu Picchu. It was quite cold outside, but the staff provided a heater that warmed the room well.
The only small downside was that our room didn’t have blackout curtains.
The infrastructure and personnel
Little far from the center square
