Hotel Moderno

0/5 — Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience

Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Moderno in Olbia was extremely poor and stressful. When I arrived, there was nobody at the hotel to meet me, assist with check-in, or provide access to the property. I repeatedly tried contacting the hotel owner using the personal number provided and waited for approximately an hour, but received no assistance.

The owner then told me after I had left and 2 hours after contacting her that she was at the hotel and could assist me, so I returned to the property expecting someone to be there. However, when I arrived, there was still nobody there to assist me or help me check in.

When I eventually managed to get inside, the condition of the accommodation was extremely disappointing. The room smelt strongly of mould, and there was an air purifier running inside. There were also doors being used to cover holes/openings in the floor, which I found very concerning.

The lock on the door of the room was broken, raising concerns about the security of our belongings. Unfortunately, I also discovered that some items appeared to be missing from my luggage after staying at the property. I cannot confirm exactly what happened to these items, but given the circumstances and the security issues at the property, I have serious concerns about how secure our belongings were while staying there.

The room also did not appear to match the photographs shown online when I made the booking, which was extremely disappointing considering the amount I was charged.

Overall, this was one of the most stressful accommodation experiences I have had. The lack of communication and assistance, mould smell, condition of the property, broken lock, concerns regarding missing belongings, and difference between the advertised photographs and the actual room made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.

Nous sommes arrivés vers 20h30 et l'hôtel était fermé. Personnes ne répondait à nos appels téléphoniques. Nous sommes restés devant pendant plus de trois quart d'heure. Heureusement un client qui rentrait nous a ouvert la porte et a appelé le gérant ( ce n'était pas le même numéro que celui inscrit sur le site) et là, un individu est arrivé et sans un bonjour ni un mot d'excuse, nous a donné une chambre.
Ce n'est que le lendemain matin que nous avons été reçu par la gérante qui sans un mot d'excuse pour le problème de la veille, nous a fait payer la taxe de séjour et pui
S plus rien. Nous n'avons jamais vu quelqu'un à la réception pendant 11 jours, nous sommes parti en déposant les clefs sur le comptoir.

Le manque de personnel à la réception et de communication via booking.

le garage ressemblait à un dépôt qui contenait des lavabos, des baignoire, toutes cassées et la gérante peu accueillante/disponible. il n’y avait pas de sonorisation, on entendait tout ce qu’il se passait à côté.

De l'attente pour accéder à l'accueil de l'hôtel afin de prendre possession de la chambre préalablement réservée, car porte d'entrée fermée à clé. Sèche cheveux absent.

Personale pessimo!! Non era presente in struttura , struttura vecchia che ha bisogno di ristrutturazioni, camera odore di muffa e collegata a un altra camera quindi non c era privacy, è suonato l allarme di mattina presto causando disagio poiché poi ci aspettava un viaggio lungo e ci ha disturbato il sonno , insomma terribile

This hotel was a strange experience. The interior looked more like a hospital than a hotel. When we arrived, the front desk was unattended, the main door was locked, and there was no doorbell. We had to knock loudly, but no one answered. We only managed to get in because someone else was leaving and opened the door for us.

The room smelled strongly of bleach, so we opened the window to air it out. The bleach smell eventually faded, but it was replaced by an unpleasant, old, musty odor. There was absolutely no sound insulation — when someone in the next room took a shower, it felt like it was happening right in our room
