Everything, a great boutique hotel in a very convenient location but in a quiet backroad. Easy to park on-site or on the road.
Nothing. Although no air conditioning.
Die Lage war super und es war sehr ruhig.
Das Zimmer war im Dachstock und sehr heiss, eine Lüftung gab es nicht. Fenster konnten kaum abgedunkelt werden.
Nice old villa, close to cuty center, friendly staff, good breakfast
The Hideaway Suite (family room with two bedrooms) is basically in the cellar/basement (lower ground floor). You have to pass the kitchen and take the stairs down. The room is spacious and nicely renovated, but the daylight is limited and you basically see the legs of other guests sitting/walking in the garden. Bathroom in nice retro chic with free-standing bathtub, but no window. For 2 nights, it was ok. Outdoor parking is another 20£ extra per day.

The most friendly staff you will ever encounter. The first night, we were assigned a room which was quite noisy in front of the cafeteria, which made us quite unhappy. The following morning, without even having mentioned the issue yet, they changed us into a much better room than the standard we had booked. I am extremely grateful to them. The hotel is as beautiful as you can see in the pictures.
Everything was great.
The staff were all so lovely and polite, and their service was wonderful. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was extremely tasty. We would definitely go again!

Staff particularly friendly and location amazing
Location was excellent, a proper boutique feel hotel with friendly staff and easy walking distance to the city centre.
I felt the room was slightly on the smaller side, with a very small bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay and the hotel breakfast was great, but I struggled to feel like I was staying in an authentic 5 star hotel.
The staff are extremely passionate, motivated to solve problems and approachable,。The hotel isn’t large, but it’s in a superb location—quiet yet central—and has all the amenities you’d expect. It has become my benchmark when choosing a hotel. The décor is also quite distinctive, striking a fine balance between comfort and aesthetics. Most importantly, it offers excellent value for money.
The hotel is so popular that you need to book early, otherwise you won’t get a room. I’d originally planned to stay for two nights, but as I really liked Bath and this hotel, I decided to extend my stay by another two nights. However, as it was the weekend, I could only extend it by one day (despite the hotel doing their utmost to help). That was a slight disappointment.
Staff were charming, and the hotel very comfortable and clean, in a lovely airy location, which was a particular treat in such a heatwave.
