The evening meal wasn’t the best
It was a good location, just outside Edinburgh. The rooms were well decorated and the sraff friendly and helpful. The decor of the public areas was lovely. The food was good value for money. Good valu
We couldn't get the heating to work and the portable radiator didn't work either. Also the windows were all single glazed, even in the bathroom. The bathroom window was also cracked and there were no window coverings, which let down the overall feel of our stay.

Absolut freundliches Personal, super zuvorkommend. Sehr geräumiges, sauberes Zimmer. Gemütliche Atmosphäre in grüner Laage. Super Restaurant lecker und frisch. Unglaublich hundefreundlich, im Restaurant gibt es ein extra Bereich für Gäste mit Hund. Hotellaage an Hauptstraße hat überhaupt nicht gestört auch nicht mit Zimmer zur Straße.

Room was not clean, sink drain was blocked I asked the receptionist but they didn’t fix it.
Bed was not clean hair was found cups were not clean.

The hotel was poorly maintained and attention to detail of cleanliness was very poor. Breakfast cups and cutlery were dirty. Stayed this hotel a few years ago and I was disappointed to see it being run down. Paintwork and carpets in poor condition.
Lovely old building, nice food and staff
Paid for a deluxe room but did not exceed expectations, we had no hot water for bath, Following day couldn't use shower as wrong head for shower holder but actually had warm water for bath, that unfortunately drained as quick as it filled as plug no fitting correctly. The room was large and clean, sash window in bathroom constantly rattling as I'll fitted but stopped it temporarily by packing with tissue, it was ok but not a deluxe room

Die Baustelle nachts direkt an der Bundesstraße vor dem Hotel. Wir wussten davon nichts und sind vorher umher geirrt. Die Bauarbeiter haben uns dann aber schließlich Geleit gegeben bis zum Hotel. Eine Information darüber im Vorfeld wäre super gewesen.
