Super cool hotel!
Pros:

The architecture and the aesthetics of the hotel are amazing - super cool vibes and an amazing location - I am very glad I stayed here. Loved how spacious my room was - having a balcony was a plus! Definitely would come back in summer!

Cons:

I was traveling to Valpo in July (winter) and it seems like everywhere indoors was cold (not only Hotel Fauna). I wasn't prepared to be as cold indoors! The hotel room doesn't have heaters, lotion, or tissues - so come prepared!

Amazing safe location, stunning views, beautiful aesthetics. Some minor changes to service could make it unforgettable
Pros:

Excellent safe location, views are amazing, aesthetics inside hotel as photos - really beautiful. Stunning bathroom, amazing shower, really powerful and hot!! Decent hair dryer. Breakfast - amazing juice and views and one exceptionally friendly, lovely waitress.

Cons:

Soundproofing not great in rooms, no TV/fridge/kettle, and no offer of water refills maybe because we didn’t need room being made up but would have been nice to offer it. Breakfast - 3 hot items including very sloppy eggs, tiny containers of bacon and mushrooms. They ran out of bacon on day 1 (was disappointed but accepted this as only 30 mins left of breakfast), none on day 2. They said no delivery. They only offered a substitute after me politely pointing out that they should then replace it with an alternative. Hot chocolate option a nice touch depending on who you asked it came out within minutes or not at all even when ordering in Spanish so not a language barrier

Valentina de recepción muy amable y atenta.

Cons:

Habitaciones sencillas y limpias. El problema fue que no funcionó el agua caliente, tubimos que ducarnos con agua casi fria. Toallas me parecieron muy antiguas y asperas también.

Hotel hermoso en ubicación privilegiada. Personal amable y dispuesto.
Pros:

El hotel es lindo, reúne lo tradicional con lo moderno de Valparaíso, ubicación privilegiada. El desayuno es bueno y el personal muy dispuesto y amable.

Cons:

Las camas son mejorables, pedimos una habitación con dos camas cuya estructura se sentía demasiado liviana (se movían). En materia de sugerencias, sería ideal contar con un espejo de cuerpo entero en la habitación.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, perfect location in historic centre. Room was lovely, comfortable, clean. Breakfast was delicious! Worth getting it included. Be prepared for stairs.

Cons:

Female staff seemed disinterested, we didn't get greeted with a warm hello or when walking in etc. Not a big deal. Just seems like a basic hospitality thing they should do. Very minimal info provided on check-in and only in Spanish, so maybe i missed a few things. Heating in room not turned on, when we worked it out, it did not work well but we got a little portable heater bought in after freezing during night 1.
