It is a good place to stay, the staff are lovely, thhe breakfast is perfect, great location, stay here if you want great
Pros:

Honest place, not perfect but clean comfortable and characterful, staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast is perfect!

Cons:

Not much tbh, it is a little dated but to me that just adds to the character

Fantastic property with excellent meals and service. Great value.
Pros:

Good breakfast and decent choice. Spacious room with king size bed although a little lumpy.
Fantastic and extensive evening menu. Food and service excellent. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Beautiful setting, clean, comfortable room, excellent food, great staff!
Pros:

What a little gem! The room was bright, clean and comfy. The little touches like the toiletries went a long way (we forgot ours!) The room was really quiet.
We booked for dinner there and the food was excellent and reasonably priced, breakfast in the morning was equally as good and lots of choice.
We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone

Lovely old inn
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, superb breakfast and Dinner we ate there most nights as the food was excellent especially the home made Steak and Ale pie ! Good Central base for exploring the Coast and lovely old towns and Castles ,within 30 to 40 minutes drive away!

Cons:

Needs a bit of decorating as getting a bit wore out .

Lovely place , ideal base for exploring Northumberland
Pros:

The Anglers is in a great location for exploring Northumberland.
The public rooms are nicely furnished
We brought our dog & he was made very welcome
Breakfast is excellent with a variety of choices ,
Evening meals were good too
Best of all was the warm welcome from the staff

Cons:

It’s an old building & one or two people had minor problems with plumbing in their rooms but these were quickly rectified

Pros:

The pub and hotel was really nice and staff were friendly. Unfortunately we had a power cut so didn't get chance to eat there but i am sure that it would have been good. Staff handled it well though

Fabulous hotel for visiting the sites of Northumberland
Pros:

The Anglers Arms is set in a lovely quiet location by the river; it's an excellent location for visiting Cragside, Alnwick and Warkworth, and even further afield to Bamburgh and Holy Island. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is good and there is a good selection of well cooked meal options in the evening. It was much better value than hotels closer to the coast. There's ample parking.
