Pool area lovely, clean and nice jacuzzi, steam room and lounger area. Sauna not on.
Food was lovely. Good quality and presented well. The menu looked ok but what came out was much better than expected. Family room was much bigger than expected and laid out very well for family use (room 301).
Dates interior and furniture. A bit dusty and carpets thin. Despite a poster saying ‘this hotel is 100% smoke free’ lots of vaping and smoking occurred outside and just outside the doors to the restaurant. I could see and smell cigarette smoke whilst I waited for dinner.
Confusion over menu. Friday night stay and when we checked in we were told menu was restricted only during the weekend. This included only 2 starters and 4 mains. However at the restaurant we were given the full menu. Staff didn’t seem to know which menu was correct and the young boy working the bar and the restaurant seemed quite unsure of what he was actually doing. Restaurant empty yet service slow and unorganised. We were given menus and never saw the waitress again. We had to return to the bar to ask if someone could take our order and then we had to ask for cutlery later, ask for plates to be cleared. Desserts brought whilst we still had mains plate on the table. Not 4* service.
Room fine, water pressures and temperature awful. Took 10 mins for shower to get warm.

Noisy doors ,
Quiet, glad that my dog was very welcome. Even to eat they have space separated to go with the dog. Only observation the garden was full of thorny plants. Had to take care.
Just breakfast missed cheese options and more type of breads.
Large comfortable room. Plenty of room to open & live out of both of our large suitcases . So important when yr traveling

Hotel communal areas needed a good hoover and clean. Pool needs slight repairs. Not enough staff!, sometimes only one person, not very fair to staff to have to man all aspects of hotel.
bar was not open during stated times on your website had to insist they opened up on several occasions.
no aircon , we were not able to sleep very well . We had to transfer to a nearby hotel the next day.
The price, staff were friendly
Very dated hotel, had a big stain on the headboard and the general smell around the hotel wasn't great, smelt like old carpets.
However for the price you cant really complain
