Hotel was really nice, staff were so friendly and helpful! Didn't hear any noise from downstairs
Only issue we had was our key card would stop working in the morning for the room but the staff quickly sorted it out for us
We had dogs with us and plenty of outdoor space
There was not anything I could say we didn't like
Check In was prompt & met with friendly & helpful Staff Member, Room was Clean, Warm & Clean Linen & Towels. Very Quiet & Peaceful @ Night, so a Good Sleep. Wide variety of choice for Breakfast, which was Cooked to perfection & the right temperature when served @ your table.
Due to the Hotel facilities being open to the Public it was @ times very busy with Families, leaving a mess @ the Tables vacated, the Staff kept up with clearing away the mess left, but some families were extra messy.
The room was clean. A good sized car park .
The furniture and floor in the bar/restaurant was filthy. It was sticky and grubby.

No food in evening kitchen close at 7pm said everything was off staff couldn't be bothered thinking it was to hot outside room had one cup and towel and too person in room

Convenient location for our trip and also pet friendly. Decent pub/food and good outside grounds for walking the dogs.

We had a twin room that was small, but big enough for the two if us.
Bathroom was OK, although it had some damage around the plaster above the skirting board.
Beer was cold and tasty.
Plenty of free car parking spaces.
Food was horrendous as usual (unless you like green king pub chain food).
I am always disappointed with the food at Green King.

Hotel insgesamt etwas abgebraucht, könnte Auffrischung vertragen. Wir mussten beim Frühstück nach Toastbrot fragen, bekamen dann 2 Scheiben, doch dann wurde das Buffet abgeräumt. Wobei wir auch erst 8.45h im Frühstücksraum waren. Den Cappuccino mussten wir extra bezahlen, kostenlos gab es Tee und (Filter?)Kaffee aus einer Kanne. Wir kämen trotz dieser Puinkte wieder.

The Highfield Hotel is lovely, staff really welcoming and helpful, food tasty and good value, the bedroom was great, bed was really comfortable and had a peaceful nights sleep. The atmosphere was lovely, sat outside in the sunshine Saturday evening it was really relaxing and chilled. I think Highfield Hotel is a hidden gem in Middlesbrough. Thank you we had a lovely stay :)

Very clean and comfortable rooms, massive bedroom and bathroom. Only trouble was the bathroom sink plug but sorted it quickly.
