Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren als Familie mit insgesamt fünf Personen dort und hatten das Familienzimmer gebucht. Es gab genügend Betten für alle, und sogar ein kleines, fast geheimes Zimmer – das hat uns besonders gut gefallen!

Cons:

Beim Duschen haben wir festgestellt, dass die Spender für Duschgel und Seife leer waren. Wir haben dies jedoch sofort gemeldet, und die Spender wurden umgehend wieder aufgefüllt.

Sehr freundliche Pächterin, hilfsbereit und präsent! Lage

Cons:

Alle Seifenspender waren leer, Tissues leer. Klimaanlage wurde zentral abgeschaltet und lies sich nicht einschalten um 10:00Uhr.
Seltsamer Geruch von Bad und Dusche am Anreisetag.
Kein frei zugänglicher Lift in den 3. Stock
Vorhänge sind teilweise aus den Schienen und hängen herunter

Pure Gastfreundschaft
Pros:

Wer als Gast behandelt werden möchte, und nicht nur als zahlender Kunde, ist im Schwan genau richtig. Äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Inhaber und Mitarbeiter sorgten für unser Wohl. Das reichhaltige Frühstücks Buffet stärkte uns für den Tag. Am Abend ist das hauseigene Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen. Für uns als Familie war die Lage perfekt: Bahnhof, Schiffsanleger und Badi am Zürichsee sind 5-10 Gehminuten entfernt. Parkgarage ist sehr nahe aber teuer wofür das Hotel aber nichts kann. Selten so ein gastfreundliches Haus erlebt. Bitte weiter so! Wir kommen wieder.

Ontgoochelend!
Cons:

We waren met drie volwassenen en hadden de suite geboekt.
Op de site staat dat de suite een dubbelbed, een enkel bed een sofa bevat. Er stond alleen een dubbel bed en een uitgetrokken sofa met een heel dun matrasje, bed onwaardig.
Er is niemand aan het onthaal. Er ligt een omslag klaar met de sleutel en trek je plan.
Spijtig!!

A magical hotel and town!
Pros:

We stayed in the Swan Suite with our family of 5. It was absolutely delightful! The suite was large and roomy, it had a fantastic air conditioner, a large bathroom with various L'Occitane amenities and the most amazing views of the adorable town. We looked out onto the lovely outdoor dining patio with a brilliant water fountain, cobblestone streets, and a fabulous view of the clock tower. The included breakfast was delicious and dining on the patio was just magical. Horgen is a lovely, quaint town and we are so happy that we stayed at this hotel. It was a short train ride to Zurich, the Lindt chocolate museum and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful lake. We enjoyed a lovely dip in the lake and felt like a local sitting in the grass under a tree taking in the breathtaking views.. Also, riding in the ferry around lake Zurich is highly recommended. We also were amazed by all of the beautiful water fountains dotted around Horgen, Zurich, and other parts of Switzerland. We were able to replenish our water bottles with cool, fresh water while touring the various sites. Our hosts Sabrina and her husband were fabulous, so helpful and warm and welcoming! Thank you for the amazing stay - we hope to come back soon!

Pros:

A charming hotel in a historic building right in the center of a lovely town. The word "charming" really suits this place. You should keep in mind that the building is old, so the floors are quite creaky, but despite that, it is a delightful place to stay. Wonderful breakfasts by the fountain in the central square. We arrived very late, but check-in was hassle-free, and they left the key for us at reception. There is a parking lot just two minutes away with plenty of available spaces. The room comes with a coffee machine. I highly recommend this place!

Pros:

De hele sfeer in het hotel was fijn, van binnen en van buiten. Het was schoon en ruim. En Horgen is een leuk dorpje.

Cons:

Het was wat gehorig maar dat komt waarschijnlijk omdat het een heel oud hotel is en dat is ook deel van de charme.

We really liked the room. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help, which made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay and we will definitely come back next year.
