This is the second time I have stayed at the Glenferrie Hotel. It is a beautifully maintained old pub with a lot of charm. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is large and spacious, the bed comfortable. I loved the sweet touch of Tim Tams on the pillows. The Hotel is a close walk to shops and restaurants and has a lovely cafe next door for breakfast. The hotel is close to public transport with the Glenferrie train station a short walk away.
Not a criticism but be aware the rooms are accessed by stairs- there is no lift.
The rooms were large, the shower had lots of hot water and fast flow.
It’s charming and the rooms are spacious. Each room has a spa and the Victorian decor is just divine. The staff are amazing. Drayson the manager is one of the best parts of the hotel. So warm and gracious and helpful.
Little bit loud for a little while when band was on but wasn’t late
Everything, including the heritage
Loved the old world charm
Nothing.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Awesome vintage vibe. Very comfortable.
Very good value for money. Very clean and an ideal location for what I wanted.
The hotel food was standard.
The stairs would be difficult for some people with luggage. They would also struggle with the shower over the spa bath.
Didn’t stay for breakfast
One thing didn’t like was the glass panels on the bathroom door
Nice clean
Loud people out our window late at night after the pub shut
Everything. Always our go to. See you in two weeks!!
The room was clean
Coffee and tea didn’t get replaced on second day and my room was above the beer garden and was very noisy loud music and guest were shouting outside my room Not enough milk I had to go and buy some
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a great size, bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. I loved the little extra touch of a TIm Tam on the pillow :). The Glenferrie is in an excellent location, very close to the train station and lots of shopping and food options within a short walking distance.
The staff were awesome and very helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent, close to all amenities and very convenient. Complimentary car parking was a great bonus. The room was clean and well maintained.
There was some noise from the road and the nearby pub, which could be a bit disturbing at times.
Loved the old character of the property. Felt like a good old school hotel. Filled with character from the fittings to the structure of the building.
Was a bit on the noisy side but that comes from the age of the property and it being a hotel. Didn't impact on being able to rest and sleep well.
