Pros:

My partner and I stayed here when attending a friend's a wedding and it was perfect for what we needed and we have actually earmarked it to stay over again when we are traveling through the area.

The staff were lovely and enjoyed having a good chat, everyone was welcoming and accommodating.

The room itself was spacious, with a clothes cupboard and a large windowsill which was useful for keeping things off the floor.

Comfortable room and delicious cooked food.
Pros:

We liked the location, the decor and cleanliness of the room and the cooked food (both breakfast and evening meal) which was so nicely cooked and delicious.

Cons:

We were disappointed that our room was not serviced on our second day and that we had to ask twice before our in room drink station was replenished.
There was no fruit or yogurt for breakfast and we were unaware on the first day that we could ask for orange juice.

TERRIBLE STAY , TERRIBLE LOCATION , TERRIBLE STAFF , TERRIBLE FOOD!!!
Pros:

The size of the room & the bed was comfy , the place itself appeared clean & modern & thats about as far as I can honestly go with what I did like.

Cons:

Where do I start! On arrival into the car park I drove into a pothole in the centre of the car park only to be described as a moon crater , walked in the guest entrance to find an empty building of customers or staff until I saw someone in the distance who said Hi , asked my name & said she would show us to our room. When we walked in she asked if we were eating with them that evening to which I replied we were'nt sure yet & then she said breakfast is between 8am - 10am & what time would we be wanting Breakfast to which I replied we had'nt decided yet , she said well the kitchen would like to know & I replied I are'nt clocking on at work , I'm on a break & would decide when we woke Thanks.
She just rolled her eyes & left without saying another word. We went out that evening but had to be back by 10.30pm on a Saturday night because it closed at that time & did'nt want the risk of being locked out , we were'nt informed either way in that instance. We heard someone late that night in the next room marked private which turned out to be staff.
the guy snored extremely loudly all night long & we hardly had any sleep. I heard him emerge from his bed at 07.55 as walls very thin & within less than a minute he went downstairs to the kitchen to cook Breakfast , He clearly had'nt washed prior to cooking in such short space of time after emerging from his bed. We went down for Breakfast about 08.50 to no welcome whatsoever & had to find our own way around to where we were supposed to be sitting etc. No background music just silence. A few minutes later , he emerged from the kitchen to ask if we would like to order , there was already a small milk jug on the table , I ordered coffee but firstly asked if the milk in the jug was lactose free milk as was requested at the time of the booking due to my intolerance & was told no ,its normal milk.

Very good stay.
Pros:

Friendly, comfortable pub. Food was good, bar was good, room was clean and comfortable. Large shower and soft fluffy towels. Good choice of breakfast cooked to order- poached eggs done perfectly.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike.

Karren, Radack and all the bar staff were lovely and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely staying here

Beautiful country pub, hotel
Pros:

Really looked after me after I realised that I had arrived on the wrong day for the booking I made. Completely my fault, luckily a room was found and I got a lovely meal too 😊

Brilliant, just a shame we weren't there very long....
Pros:

We were very late arriving and that was no drama; there is a phone number on the door and a kind gentlemen came down and showed us to our room, we needed an earlier departure and breakfast was on the table the minute he said it would be... room was spotlessly clean and lovely decor.... we will be back!

Everything about this place is lovely. The room was spotless and comfortable, pub has a great feeling with great staff. The breakfast is superb and nothing is ever too much trouble for Radek. Was that good going back again next month.
