The George Country Inn, Wath

We were very late arriving and that was no drama; there is a phone number on the door and a kind gentlemen came down and showed us to our room, we needed an earlier departure and breakfast was on the table the minute he said it would be... room was spotlessly clean and lovely decor.... we will be back!

Lovely village

Everything about this place is lovely. The room was spotless and comfortable, pub has a great feeling with great staff. The breakfast is superb and nothing is ever too much trouble for Radek. Was that good going back again next month.

Food was hot and well cooked and good quality coffee and decaf tea. A good choice of cooked breakfast

Lovely room and comfortable bed

Everything about this place was top notch. Lovely building in a lovely village a few miles from Ripon. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The staff were all great and the food at breakfast was a good start to the day. We also ate there one evening and everybody loved their meals.

we thoroughly enjoyed out stay at The George, its a vibrant, busy village pub with bags of atmosphere and popular with the locals. WE had a warm friendly welcome and were shown to our room quickly, the room was well equipt with everything we needed, it was clean and fresh and very comfortable. we ate 2 evening meals and 2 breakfasts and enjoyed every last bite. The food was superbly cooked and well presented, and the young waitress was very careful with my dietry request. In the morning we met the chef who also served breakfast, again the full English breakfast was beautifully cooked, and was served piping hot. we can't wait to go back. Thankyou to all of the staff for providing such fantastic service.

Very clean, comfortable, obviously redecorated within the last few years, exceptionally helpful staff. I stayed on a Monday when the associated bar was closed, but the chef still came in to cook for me.

Great stay thank you. WiFI was very intermittent and was a little noisy above the bar but all good, would stay again.

Large room with modern decor & spotless bathroom. The bed was big & extremely comfy.

Excellent food, both the cooked breakfast and the Sunday roast, which was the best I've had at a pub/restaurant. The location in the lovely village of Watt is idyllic and very quiet, which is just how we like it. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
