Very old school style, nice staff, old fashioned hotel.
Pros:

Great location, nice staff, a very soviet building, i liked it.
The shower was hot and powerful.
Bed was good.

Cons:

Breakfast was manic, I had to perch myself at the bar and eat as there were no seats. Mainly tour groups, food was a little "plastic", like the sausages were frankfurter like things...bit rubbery

Utter bird crap all over the outside of the window, was actually quite disgusting.... explained the smell.

Everything I needed. Worth staying for history and convenience.
Pros:

Loved staying in the historic Soviet style building. Clean room and lovely buffet breakfast. Terrific location to explore Tashkent.

To be clear, this is no longer a luxury hotel. You stay here for the Soviet experience, not to have the red carpet rolle
Pros:

A real Soviet experience. This place has it all. Crumbling infrastructure, gaudy ballroom, anti-fall netting in the stairwells (so no party members will have an unfortunate accident here anytime soon), staff who clearly hate their lives and jobs, broken combination AC and radiator. Broken light switches. And to be clear, this is not bad, this place is a living relic, and is all about the experience, not luxury.

Cons:

Breakfast was too good, not like a true rationed Soviet breakfast of vodka and cigarettes.

Pros:

Отель в центре что очень удобно ко всем локациям. Персонал дружелюбный отзывчивый, номера немного изношены но надеемся что скоро сделают косметический ремонт.

Cons:

мало место в ресторане за завтраком, завтрак желательно разнообразить добавить больще мясного и фруктов.

Location is perfect, it is close to everything you may need. The hotel is always busy with tourists. Breakfast was nice. Staff are helpful and kind. Room was very clean. WiFi was good.

Pros:

Un hotel storico e molto caratteristico, che conserva tutto il fascino della sua epoca. L'architettura imponente e l'atmosfera un po' retrò lo rendono un luogo particolare, diverso dai soliti alberghi moderni. Soggiornarvi è quasi come fare un piccolo viaggio nel passato. Una struttura che ha sicuramente una sua personalità e che, proprio per questo, merita di essere vissuta almeno una volta.

Cons:

La struttura risente inevitabilmente degli anni e alcuni ambienti avrebbero bisogno di essere rinnovati. Tuttavia, questo aspetto fa anche parte del suo carattere storico e non ha compromesso particolarmente la nostra esperienza.
