Quite satisfactory overall apart from the above.
Pros:

Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Room quite comfortable. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Cons:

No hangers for my trousers. Had to use my own which I always have with me and hang my trousers on the door of the bathroom.

Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

There is no leeway for check ins as no one is there before 3pm and 6pm so you cannot check in early or later.
It seems that they maybe in the state of refurb but this was not pointed out to us and the corridors between reception and our room were dreadfull with splashe of paint everywhere. The room was pokey and the smallest pillow ever on the bed. Also although it seemed the room had recently been refurbished it was cheaply done and the bathroom although large enough, had no shelves to put toiletries on.

Breakfast room was like a canteen and very unwelcoming.

We will not be returning

Very disappointed .
Pros:

Location was good . Breakfast was good

Cons:

Unfinished room . An uncomfortable bed in a small space . Nowhere to put your clothes unless you left them in your case . Nobody on reception a lot of the time . Only one key card which we left in room , the emergency number didn’t answer only for another guest managed to get through. We were stood in reception for an hour.

Pros:

Budget friendly hotel in the centre of Ypres. Good access to museums and a short walk from the Menin Gate. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Ypres Experience
Pros:

The room was beautifully made out and had a fabulous view of the Cloth Hall. It was close to the Menin Gate. The bed was comfortable and, evrnbthough the air conditioning wasn't working, it wasn't hot. Breakfast is a bonus and helped to start the day.

Cons:

We were not aware of the road closures due to markets occurring over the weekend and so we were very stressed once we found a parking space. The hostess didn't seem too concerned about our situation: just said that we couldn't park inside the barriers until 10.00pm! I think that they need to have this fact on the description: not just on the doors as you get there. It would also.help if the phones were answered.

Excellent hotel for a short stay in the centre of Ypres
Pros:

The property was small, clean and well presented.

Cons:

The property is well positioned only about 30 m from the very centre. The view from my room was amazing.

Maybe for a night, but rather find a hotel who are more facilitating
Pros:

Location is superb, close to the grote markt and Menin gate !

Cons:

Got locked out of my room during the first night. Nobody answered the phone to let me back in.
Had to sleep the night on the sofa in the lobby, no excuse or gesture made by the staff.

Pros:

De ligging, het vriendelijke personeel, nette kamer, heel schoon en lekker bed.. De gangen waren ze ws aan het renoveren, waren niet afgewerkt maar had verder geen invloed.
Prijs/ kwaliteit helemaal goed.

I would definitely stay again, but only if the air con is in working order
Pros:

Location. Location. Location. Absolutely brilliant location. Stunning views over the square and museum.
The recently renovated rooms are great. The bathroom was very clean

Cons:

Unfortunately the air con in our room wasn’t working. We were offered a fan which clattered until we took it apart and tried to repair it. With the window open the noise from the square at night then with deliveries in the morning meant we didn’t get much sleep. It was disappointing.
