Location was convenient for me.
The room wasn't very clean - pubic hairs in the bathroom. Apart from when I checked in, there were never any staff at reception, I had to go to the restaurant to find someone. When I got back to the hotel on the night of my stay, there was a man walking in and out of the ground floor - on previous stays, guests had to use their card to enter the building at night, so I didn't feel very safe. There is no longer a bar, the hotel has lost its licence.
It’s central so dont have to walk far to get to the shops and restaurants
Used to be lovely but since changing hands it’s gone downhill a lot. I wouldn’t stay here again. Wasn’t worth the money and the room was absolutely tiny. Felt grubby, facilities weren’t good and bath looked dirty. Felt like a hostel so for the price it was disappointing.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind bequem zu Fuss zu erreichen. Der Lärm aus der vor dem Hotel liegenden Fussgängerzone (mit diversen Pubs etc.) stört zumindest in den oberen Etagen nicht.
Das Hotel ist deutlich "in die Jahre gekommen" Das Mobiliar, der abgenutzte Holzboden und insbesondere der Zustand im Bad passen gar nicht zu einem 4-Sterne-Haus. Die Sauberkeit liess bisweilen auch zu wünschen übrig.

Couldn't check in eay without paying
Got the cinema room. Great facilities and complimentary snacks! loads of DVD films, a Playstation with a bunch of games. So nice range of entertainment. clean room. comfy bed.
The lift was out of order due to maintenance. We were given a room on the 4th floor. so, plenty of stairs to climb. Also the cinema room we got had no windows! though there were no ventilation issues. Just no natural light!
Very old, lots of old grime ......
The hotel is in a great location near the station, main shopping area and several key attractions. We had a clean, comfortable and spacious room with comfortable beds.
Unfortunately, the elevator was out of action during our stay so we had to go up and down three flights of stairs every day. I expect that it will be repaired soon.
When we first arrived, we were told we were on the seventh floor but unfortunately the lift was broken mad I had just recovered from having a hip replacement. They managed to find us a room on the third floor which they called a compact double room, I would’ve called it a single room. Was it impressed after sleeping three nights in the room? They finally gave us a bigger room as my wife’s neck was really bad with the bed what did what, the lift was still broken on the day we left, the hotel is too old

Ubicación fantástica. Cerca de las estaciones de tren y bus. Sabanas y toallas limpias. Personal estupendo. Hervidor de agua con te, café y chocolate. Habitación grande, la cama muy cómoda. No había ruido aún que el hotel está en la calle de St Mary.
La habitación necesita una limpieza profunda. Realmente no estuvo limpia. No me gustó que el hotel no esta situado en la planta baja. Esta unas 3 plantas arriba.
Great Centra location and the triple room was a really good size. The hotel seemed clean and the room price was good

Location and good standards in all aspects.
Breakfast is very nice and tables are private in a large room. My room was comfortable and easy to get to. The staff was helpful. We were able to keep our luggage stored when we arrived early. Traveling with my brother , we were able to have our rooms on the same floor and near one another. That was a nice bonus.
The stairs- as a solo female traveler, while I pack what I can carry, going up 2 flights of stairs was a challenge. Unfortunately, there was not someone available to help me. But overall, it is a great location and I had a nice time.
