Property Description

Luxurious Poolside Experience

Guests can enjoy a drink or meal by the pool at Novotel Darwin Airport. Located only 250 metres from Darwin Airport, it offers free airport transfers and free cable TV.

Modern Rooms and Suites

Each of the spacious rooms and suites at Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel features air conditioning, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities, ironing facilities and a refrigerator are included.

Relaxing Amenities

Some accommodation also has cooking facilities, laundry facilities and a private balcony. The 25-metre lap pool is surrounded by native tropical gardens and sun loungers.

Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel is a 15-minute drive from Darwin city centre. Free car parking is included. Please be aware of the redevelopment outside the hotel. Construction work begins at 8am - 6pm daily, causing noise and disruptions. Hotel parking is now located beside the Novotel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Pros:

Very handy to walk to the hotel arriving after midnight.
The pool is the main attraction point of the hotel besides the location.
The room was reasonable sized with a nice pool view.
There was complementary hotel parking across the street.

Cons:

Upon check-in, there was no one to show us where the lift is or which way to find our room etc.
I expected at least a complementary bottle of water in the room, especially as guests usually arrive during midnight.
There is a bar fridge with only a long-life milk inside, expected to find biscuits in the tea section or snacks/drinks to pay with the room rate upon check out.
The buffet breakfast has hardly any selection for dietary requirements like, vegetarian; and nothing suitable for halal.
Couldn't find any water bottle to purchase in the morning, neither from the reception vending machine nor in any of the hotel cafe.

Convenient for an early flight out of Darwin
Pros:

Standard hotel rooms that could be refreshed, paint chipping from walls and dirty carpets. There is a nice pool but the water was dirty. The only reason to stay here is if you have an early flight from Darwin.

Very standard rooms. Needs refreshing.

The most plain, institutionalised hotel rooms you have ever seen. No artwork (not even a generic print), no lamps, no colour, no personality. The blandest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

Short and sweet, made my travel process easier and enjoyable.
Pros:

Love the pool and spa area, that’s why I booked it. Location is excellent for me too. Meals are great.

Cons:

The room was not presented as well as it could have been, (423 from memory I think?). The door is missing on cupboard and the side door near the fridge was left randomly open.

Rattling air conditioning all night.random clicking noise all night. Rooms nearby doors opening and closing loudly. Pillows uncomfortable. Had to use our apple account to access tv and then couldn’t wipe out personal details. Shower door would not close. Over priced across the board
