Location. Management. Food.
Value. Cleanliness. Old, dusty, broken this, broken that… The bed was nearly unmade/unkempt. I found a used plastic toothpick/flosser in the chair. Approaching gross.
We had a great welcome on arrival and Michelle at reception was so helpful. She even tried her best to upgrade us but I’d say we arrived too late! Room was recently renovated and lovely colour scheme and bathroom/ shower was fab. We had a nice breakfast each morning and parking was free close by. Lovely spot!
Bed was a little small but we had been warned of this on arrival.. rooms can be quite hot but it wasn’t too bad.
Excellent location
Close to train and lots of restaurants
Excellent breakfast
Front desk and waiting room staff are very nice and welcoming
Decor is fabulous
Email from hotel requesting credit card details prior to arrival. With so many scams nowadays I didn’t feel comfortable with this
This booking was made through Booking.com as Hotel site had no availability. Greeting on arrival just after 3pm was excellent. Sorry can't remember young gentleman's name. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Location good. Close to shops and short walk to beach. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Young Lady, Rae, in restaurant and at bar was especially warm and welcoming when serving. Michelle at Reception on checkout was also very nice. Evening meal in restaurant was also very good. Restaurant special 3 course for £40 per person did not match up to ordering courses individually. Nothing matched up to £40 so why make it look like an offer? Reception area decor is stunning as is the seating area although the step from reception desk to seating could be highlighted more as easy to overlook and trip down the step to next level.
Firstly, not happy at all with Booking.com. The site used a front facing, bay window photo to advertise this double room booking. As we have stayed in such a room in the past (before Marine & Lawn took over) with a double bed we did not think to query it. Also we did notice "Beach facing" on their advert. It would be a miracle to see the beach even from a front facing room at this hotel but we overlooked this, obviously should not have done so. I bet we do not get a reply on any of above comments. Plus on looking back at the confirmation from Booking.com I now see a very small picture of the actual room we had. Does this justify drawing potential customers into booking by showing a bay window room? bordering on trading standards but covering themselves with the small picture. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Location good. Close to shops and short walk to beach. Room not what we expected at all. Small, facing to back of hotel. Dark blues and greens (noramlly I love blues & greens) colour scheme just too much for a small area. No air conditioning (at checkout we were advised we should have been told at check in that there was a fan in wardrobe. Very few power points. Tea tray on top shelf in wardrobe, not very accessible. Only 3 coat hangers, 2 of which had the metal clips which were useless for fine dresses, tops etc. Overall very disappointing apart from the staff who were all lovely and very helpful. Evening meal in restaurant was also very good. Restaurant special 3 course for £40 per person did not match up to ordering courses individually. Nothing matched up to £40 so why make it look like an offer? (When we queried if the steak for £38 was included, we were advised it would be another £15, still better ordering individual courses).
The location was very handy.
The food was over cooked for breakfast and dinner. The room was very dark, the view of the roof fans was unpleasant and loud.
The room was very dusty and the two cups one was cracked .
There was 2 bath towels in the room for four people staying in it.
I wouldn’t recommend.
Molto carino l’arredamento tipico inglese è molto cordiale il capo sala che ci ha servito la cena peraltro molto buona
La camera assolutamente troppo piccola
Adatta per una persona
Armadio inesistente
Bagno piccolissimo ( nn c’era il posto x appoggiare nulla)
Location was perfect.Aidan on reception was very nice very helpful.breakfast was lovely.very clean hotel loved the decor.parking was a bit of an issue .purpose of our stay was celebrating our wedding anniversary.we stayed 2 nights
we had booked extras like the afternoon tea which we cancelled our selves due to the time frame as we had alot planned to do.we also got late check check which was great.we also requested a bottle of champagne which when we got to our room was not there so i asked at reception and was told oh we over looked it so i just cancelled it was not impresed it was over looked. Also we left sunday around 12 30 to explore portrush arrived back at 6.30pm to our room which had not been serviced no clean towels,no loo roll and both bins full had to ring down to reception to get towels and loo roll very disappointed our room was not serviced.we stayed in rm 209 which is out the back of the hotel found the room very warm the fan did not do much could not leave the window opened as it was very noisy in the morning times.
The Manager Jordan and Aidan were very professional, kind and courteous during our stay. They made is a very pleasant stay. The rooms were
Spotlessly clean and breakfast was superb.

Breakfast good. Staff very helpful. Location good. Bathroom excellent
Very very small room and double bed hardly big enough for two. Noisy boiler outside. Parking difficult. No kettle in bedroom.
The bed was comfortable
No car park & food wasn't great
Breakfast was lovely, all staff members were so helpful and friendly. The location was amazing, just a 2 minute walk to the beach, pubs and restaurants are all close by. Guy on reception was lovely, and gave great restaurant recommendations!
Nothing.
