Perfect French breakfast!! Had everything we needed and more. What could go wrong having baguette, cheese, and coffee in the mornings.
Was very hot outside making our room really hot but that’s cause we travelled to France in a heatwave so no one’s fault really. A fan would have been really nice, but again not their fault. Slept with the balcony doors slightly open but got mulled by mosquitos and flies.
Clean room and bathroom
Very untidy exterior and guest entry
Really good breakfast. Very helpful.
Everything was fabulous.
Our room had all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay. The rooms are small but adequate. The highlight of our stay was the meal experience. The menu is fairly diverse and very well prepared. The wine list is compact, but again, it was very well thought through. Kornelia, the hostess, was so charming, sweet, playful, helpful, smart, and beautiful! The food and wine were good, but Kornelia elevated our experience beyond exceptional. I know that my review probably sounds as if I'm gushing about Kornelia, but she really was the catalyst to our memorable evening.
It was all good.
Le gros défaut de cet hôtel est l’absence totale d’insonorisation …
L’insonorisation
Les parties communes mériteraient un rafraîchissement
Très accueillant
Escalier un peu raide
Chambre calme
Excellent breakfast. Good variety of fresh bread and pastries jams, meat and cheese
The duvet was rather heavy for the time of year(personal preference)
Staff were amazing as soon as we arrived and they continued to look after us all evening throughout a busy dinner service. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. We then came down in the morning to a set breakfast laid out for us which was the perfect start to our holiday.
Chambre calme, propre et bien située, petit déjeuner superbe. Dommage que le petit balcon ne soit pas en état d'être utilisé.
Basic but very clean hotel on a very busy road, with an astounding gourmet restaurant. Very nice bathroom. Convenient location for breaking the journey from the channel ports. Great service.
The lighting could do with changing so that one person can read or get to the bathroom without waking the other(s): all the bedside lights were on the same switch. Curtains would also be useful - the electric shutter was the only way of covering the window, and it was noisy if one wanted to get to the balcony at night.
Comfortable room with v good shower at the back and above the restaurant. Excellent evening meal in atmospheric restaurant with lovely and v good value breakfast. A real treat!
Clean room, quiet
The hotel location is central and convenient, in the beautiful Pays d’Auge. The restaurant is excellent, and there was a log fire in the dining room, very cosy and atmospheric.
