Hotel linistit in parc Herastrau
Pros:

Hotel amplasat in parc Herastrau. Am primit o camera la era 1 fara balcon linistita intr-o zi de Vineri. Datorita faptului CA sunt lucrari la parc Herastrau, hotelul numai poate otganiza petreceri oe lac si Este liniste. Anii trecuti in serile de Vineri si Sambata erau mari petreceri si galagie pe Lacul Herastrau. Mancarea la restaurant foarte buna dar foarte scumpa. O masa de pranz pentru mama si copil ajungand usor la peste 200 de Ron.

Cons:

Mobiler vechi. Mic dejun ok dar slabut calitativ. Nu Este un mic dejun de 4 stele. Mai de 2 stele. Hotelul scump CA si cazare datorita pozitiei in parc.

מיושן ולא מתאים לשהות עם ילדים

הצוות קבלה היה נחמד ועזר לנו בדברים שהיה חסר.

Cons:

הגענו זוג עם ילדה בת 5 וילד בן שנה. הזמנו את המלון בגלל קרבה לשדה תעופה ובעיקר כי מהתמונות הבנו שהמלון יושב על אגם ופארק גדולים וזה מעולה למשפחה עם ילדים - כשהגענו התאכזבנו לגלות שאין אגם! ייבשו אותו לטובת שיפוצים.
בנוסף, התברר לנו לקראת השהות רק שאין בכלל מיטה נוספת לילד בחדר, מפרסמים כאילו החדר יכול להיות נוח עם ילדים וזה לא נכון. התינוק קיבל לול והילדה ישנה ביננו במיטה. אין בחדר קומקום /כוסות לתה או קפה (ביקשנו מהקבלה קומקום בשביל לחטא בקבוקים ולהרתיח מים לחלב ואמרו שיש רק אחד והוא תפוס ושכל פעם שנצטרך נרד לקבלה לקחת- גם באמצע הלילה- מאוד לא מותאם למשפחה עם תינוק), בארוחת בוקר העובד שמפנה את השולחנות כעס עלינו על הלכלוך שהתינוק עשה- יומיים ברציפות וזה ממש היה לא נעים ולא ברור למה כועס עלינו כשזאת העבודה שלו (אנחנו ניקינו את הרצפה אחרי שאכל ונשאר קצת לכלוך שמצריך מטאטא).
בכלל הרגיש שאין התחשבות בילדים - אפילו מגבות רחצה קיבלנו רק 2 והינו צריכים לבקש עוד 2.
החדר והציוד בו ישנים. הזמנו חדר עם נוף לאגם - היתה מרפסת פיצית עם עץ מולה.
סך הכל - ארוחת בוקר מאוד בסיסית עם ירקות שראו ימים טובים יותר
מלון ישן ומתאים כנראה רק למבוגרים
לא מתאים לשהות עם ילדים

A lovely, spacious apartment in the woods of Herastrau Lake and King Michael Park. Great View.
Pros:

I stayed in the apartment, and it was a really enjoyable experience. It's spacious with a distinct 70s/80s style that takes you back in time a bit. The unit had a huge living room, a good bathroom with a large tub, and a big bedroom. The real highlight, though, is the long balcony overlooking Herăstrău Lake — a wonderful spot to sit in the evening and watch the birds, trees, and park-goers along the water. The hotel is part of the Herăstrău complex, which includes a restaurant, a banquet area, and other facilities, adding a nice extra dimension to the stay — guests even get a discount at the restaurant. The restaurant itself sits right over the lake and serves great local cuisine with a modern twist. Staff were extremely helpful, even carrying my luggage up to the apartment. But perhaps the nicest thing of all is that despite being in Bucharest, you feel tucked away in the woods.

Cons:

Herăstrău Lake was drained while I was there, as there's a lot of waterworks going on across Romania right now (Vidraru Lake was drained too, for example). I learned that the lake and park are being renovated and modernized. As I walked around and saw many old trees marked with X's, I felt lucky to have made it just in time to see the old Herăstrău character before the renovation is complete. I do hope the renovations manage to preserve some of that older, stuck-in-time charm.

Warm and comfortable, but needs modernization asap
Pros:

The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful.
The room was big, air-conditioned and comfortable. The location in the park is nice with small child. Many playgrounds around. Room service is good and price is also good.

Cons:

The facilities and maintainence of the hotel are lacking. It appears aged and not modernized. It is a good Romanian cultural experience, but it is only good, if facilities are continuously modernized. This is right now not the case for Herastrau unfortunately.

In the Booking.com description, it says there is an indoor and outdoor play area for kids. There is not. It also says there is a pingpong table and bike rentals. There is not. This is misleading unfortunately. Currently the lake is drained, which it doesn't state either. We were quite disappointed by this.

Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera con vista lago, che è veramente molto grande, ha una zona living e una zona notte, e due climatizzatori. Zona veramente molto bella verde e tranquilla soprattutto, ben lontana dal caos centro !

Cons:

l'unico punto a sfavore è che la fermata metro piu vicina è a tipo 20 minuti a piedi, però se si vuole allontanare dal centro ed avere un po di quiete ne vale la pena (oppure chiamate un taxi)
