Staff pleasant and it was what I expected for the price
Pros:

I stayed one night before cycling the South Downs Way. They let me put my bike in a storage room overnight which was good of them. Breakfast was at 8am Saturday morning but I had left by then and knew that beforehand. It was what I expected for the price

Would have liked an early breakfast😬

Pros:

Room clean, carpet new. Mattress good (a bit softer compared to my home, but good). my room was facing away from the street, therefore it was quiet. Hotel located in an old building, has character.

Cons:

The old structure is squeaking, and soundproofing not ideal (which is often typical in a budget hotel)
