The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Shampoo and soap were provided. The hotel’s location is great — it is right in front of the seafront and the pier. You can walk around and enjoy beautiful views and charming streets. Shops and restaurants are also nearby.
The water pressure in the shower was quite weak.

Hotel facilities very tired. Family room a t make shift night stands with sharp edges of sawed off metal.

No fridge while room describes as if there is one. We had a cooler but that was a toy size and just about to fit no more than 2 cans of coke- thst was a joke.

Bedroom very small and bed extremely uncomfortable for me and consequently I hardly had any sleep over the three nights I stayed
Kan niet onmiddellijk op iets komen dat er uitsprong.
Het ontbijt viel tegen. Croissantje uit de diepvries. Buitenkant warm en binnenin nog koud. Het koste precies moeite voor het personeel om een glimlach op hun gezicht te houden. De kamer was verschrikkelijk warm. Er is geen airco. Het hotel is aan vernieuwing toe.

No air con. Had to open window as room was so hot. Was kept awake all night by traffic noise.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they have room available and checked us in early when they saw we were with the baby. All explained very well on check in, really nice people.
Facilities are not new and quite basic but they are very clean and I guess for us it's more important than modern furniture and etc.
It's not that we didn't like it just something to.keep in mind , the bathroom is a bit old and maybe needs refreshing, but all taps are working very well and it's clean.
My second stay at the Riviera Hotel and both were excellent. The single room was quite small but it was very clean and in good condition. Check in/out staff friendly and helpful, left my bag in a secure room on check out for a few hours around Eastbourne, also a very good location close to the pier and beach opposite. Good value would definitely stay again.
