Important information:

When children under 16 are using the pool, there must be adults in attendance, swimming at the same time - not just supervising. The pool is available for junior guests from 8:00 to 18:00 daily with last entry at 17:30 and 8:00 to 11:00 on the day of departure.

Children are not allowed to use the sauna, steam room or gym.

Opening times are as follows:
Monday and Friday: 07.00 to 22.00 with last entry at 21.30 (sauna and steam room open between 08.00 and 19.00).
Saturday and Sunday: 08.00 to 20.00 with last entry at 19.30 (sauna and steam room open between 08.00 and 19.00).

All bank holidays: 08.00 to 20.00 with last entry at 19.30

Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate:
Adult allowance is now GBP 32.50 per night
Children under 12 allowance is now GBP 16.25 per night

Parking is available for GBP 10 per night.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay in a great location for exploring the town.
Pros:

Ample car parking, size of our room with superb walk in shower, very spacious for a standard room. Good breakfast. There is an excellent Spa, but we didn’t use it.

Cons:

Too many coach parties, 3-4 coaches every day, but I appreciate it’s good business for the hotel as they have 110 rooms to sell. What wasn’t made clear when booking on your site, that we had to pay extra £10.00 per night because we had booked thru an outside agent.

Old world at a price!
Pros:

Situated in a reasonably good position.

Cons:

The price. Having to pay additional for car parking. All the stairs.
Booked on line as we were booking several locations. Our room was situated up a flight of stairs then down a flight of stairs. The fixed price breakfast is not good for us. Some of the parking spaces, at the rear, are difficult to maenouvre round.

Bad management. Great spa area.
Pros:

Fantastic spa area with steam room, dry sauna and pool.
Large rooms. Walking distance from the harbour, castle and good restaurants.

Cons:

When my work for the NHS got cancelled, the hotel manager refused to change my booking to the next week so I lost £500. Shockingly bad customer service seeing that I have stayed there the whole winter.
