The Kerschbaumer family who run this hotel should be taught in hotel schools. From the moment you arrive at the hotel entrance until the moment you leave, you get the feeling that you are the most welcome guest. Everything is handled there in a personal way, they pay attention to the smallest details and it is felt everywhere. Pleasant, quiet and warm, you get a great feeling there. They are happy to help with anything and always willingly and with a smile.
The breakfast is great and very varied and the table reserved for you does not have a room number but your name.
The room is nice and comfortable and the hotel is a short distance from Stadthalle and Obertraun
They have a fantastic restaurant whose chef is the father and it is 200 meters from the hotel.
We highly recommend this place, without a doubt VFM

Hotel Kerschbaumer is a wonderful family hotel located in the heart of the beautiful Salzkammergut. It's a great place to take a star-shaped trip in the area, both in winter and in summer. My girlfriend and I arrived almost at midnight, and we still received a warm welcome at the hotel. The view from the window in the morning was breathtaking, coupled with the rustling of water in the nearby stream, and the nights we stayed were calm and romantic. The breakfast was great with an amazingly tasty bread, butter, and jam (among other things).

Cons:

I really did like everything. It's not a 5-star hotel in a top location, but maybe that's exactly its charm.

Pros:

la chambre etait bien exposée coté ruisseau avec le murmure de l'eau ambiance antistress moi qui suis adepte de la nature j'ai trouvé mon bonheur vue montagnes verdure un cadre idyllique

Cons:

manque de frigo et bouilloire je suis tres tisane detente le soir et boisson fraiche mais bon ce n'est pas le + important

A peaceful retreat
Pros:

Stylish, spotless, peaceful, typically Austrian Alpine guesthouse, a 20-minute drive from Gosausee and within easy reach of many other wonders. A decent breakfast and the highest quality local spring water in the room. We really appreciated the sauna, which we had to ourselves with a beautiful view and a chance to chill out outside.

Cons:

A kettle in the room would have been appreciated.

Neskutočne krásne prostredie. Prekrásny výhľad z balkóna izby. Krásna priestranná izba aj kúpeľňa. Dobrá silná presso káva pri raňajkách, veľmi zlatí personál a v deň odchodu pri raňajkách na stole nás čakal poďakovací odkaz s dvoma čokoládkami za to, že sme boli hosťami. Bolo to veľmi milé od nich,za čo aj touto cestou ďakujeme! Vrelo odporúčam, nebudete sklamaní!

Veľmi pekná izba, čistá, v kúpeľni všetko potrebné, bohaté raňajky a čo bolo úplne dokonalé,tak bol pozdrav od majiteľov, ktorý sme si našli na našom stole počas raňajok.

Škoda, že sa v hoteli nevarí, večera by sa nám hodila.
