Great rooms in a beautiful building.
The fabulous waterside location and the extra large room with picture windows and sea lapping against the wall. The walk-in shower and separate bath and tables and chairs.
There was some difficulty on the last night in arranging an early morning taxi for check-in at the ferry. We did make it in time but only just, it would have been less stressful had our request for an early taxi - 7.00 been met with less surprise and unwillingness to comply. As it was a taxi could not be arranged earlier than 7.20 with check-in closing st 7.30.

Excellent location & superb customer service from all the staff. Beautifully presented property & extremely clean - exceptional! We loved the fact that we had both a bath and a shower and the bathroom products were really nice. Nice touch to supply slippers & robes, and a daily bottle of water. The staff were amenable to looking after our luggage to fit in wit our timings and were helpful in dealing with the local taxi firm.
The room we had booked had very little space, including hanging space for clothing - we were staying 3 nights 4 days and I love to dress up so this was an issue but it did not spoil our stay. The room, no #3, which is on the 1st floor, overlooks the gardens and the windows from bedroom and bathroom open onto the garden and the rooms directly opposite the courtyard could look in - the weather was very hot so we needed the windows open so there was a slight lack of privacy! But again this did not really detract from our stay.
