Pros:

The staff makes the hotel more charming. From check-in to parking the car, breakfast, everyone is so nice. The location is great.

We hald also stayed at a big hotel down the street. The price at Cubo was about $100 less because you dont get the pool and rooftop deck but it is comparable. Also Cubo serves breakfast which is a nice break from a buffet like most hotels.

Great location with friendly helpful staff
Pros:

Staff were all friendly helpful and spoke excellent English. Great location for visiting old town. Appreciated the warmth of our check in Loved having key for room as QR code on phone, no key to misplace.

Cons:

A/ c in room was stuck on high. Breakfast service was chaotic one morning. Had booked a tour so had no time to eat by the time it arrived . Much better second day

City Stay
Pros:

Although the location was perfect in terms of access to the city it came with some late night street and traffic noise. This was not the fault of the hotel but did impact at times.
The staff were always available and could not do enough to help. Room was kept clean and had always been serviced when we returned after sightseeing.
The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.
Would recommend for couples and singles.

Fabulous Hotel and Staff
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Cubo. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. They are dressed each day and the complimentary refreshments are re-stocked daily. The location is perfect, just on the fringes of the Old Town with a bus stop right outside. It's so quiet at night despite being by a road.

The staff are incredibly friendly, they always greet you with a smile each time they see you. They are a credit to the establishment. Always happy to help and provide information on the local area, what buses to take etc.

Breakfast is excellent. We had pretty much everything there was on the menu. From traditional Slovenian and Italian dishes to international classics, it was all delicious and served with a smile.

The hotel is priced very fairly for what it provides. It's number 2 on TripAdvisor for a reason. We would happily return here next time. Thank you to all the staff, you guys make the stay so pleasant and enjoyable.
