It was very well located, with friendly staff. The room was very beautiful, with a nice washroom attached. The disappointing part was the next door neighbours were yelling at midnight despite the quiet time being 10 (I believe) but that’s not the hotels fault.
We tried to use the washing machine, which you had to download an app, however, the washing machine quit and our clothes were soaking. We notified the staff, and initially they just walked away, after notifying someone else, they helped and gave us a free dryer because we had to rewash the clothes. I would recommend this place, it’s just very busy in the shared facilities with not a lot of room.

I had the best hostel experience in Meininger Downtown Franz. The dorm room was well designed, clean, polished and the bathing ok. Plus: kitchen, fridge and equipment available for guests, so I can balance my meals without extra cost. The staff was gentle, helpful and well trained, they even helped me with room change in the last 2 days of my stay. I felt welcome and safe. I totally recommend the place
The price of the breakfast (13€) is expensive to me. I would suggest 8 or 9€ per day
Location was great, staff was helpful and kind. The room has a lot of really conveniently placed hooks so we could organise our clothes and jackets without making a mess
