It was my partners birthday and I rang them the week before but they couldn't help with anything extra for the room, card, flowers etc, even though I would have paid a healthy premium, it's the first 4 star hotel ive booked in years that couldn't accommodate anything, never a good start. To link up with the local flower shop which is actually a few hundred metres away would be good for business.

Everything was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Everything met the expected standards in terms of price and quality.
It’s a very peaceful and quiet place to stay and relax, which is really important. I highly recommend it — you won’t regret it. I would be more than happy to stay here again if I’m passing through the area.

On site parking was good and the entrance lobby is spacious and a relaxing place to sit. I really appreciated the excellent gluten free selection at breakfast including gluten free pancakes. Dinner was OK, the usual sort of pub food. It was nice to sit outside on their patio with a drinking the evening. I liked the decor colours etc of the bedroom.
Our first Room had damp in the bathroom. On the plus side they very quickly changed our room.

Bunch of young lads (guests) being loud at 3am.. bad luck, not the hotel's fault..
THE BREAKFAST WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE STAFF WERE REALLY LOVELY AND MOST HELPFUL. I ASKED TO CHANGE ROOMS AS I FOUND THE NOISE THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW VERY LOUD THE PERSON AT THE DESK WAS REALLY NICE ABOUT IT
