Great hotel, brilliant value for money. We had a really good few days away.
Everything.
We stayed half board and the dining room & the food was lovely. Bar staff also really nice people.
Our room on the ground floor which we asked for as we went with my mother in law, but our room smelt of urine. (nursing home smell).
Bedding was clean, bonus!

My room still had wet paint on the walls , also trying to fill a massive crack in the wall that was still wet !
I did complain and good moved to another room .
I also think it needs updating , not many plug points in room , only 2 points that was far away from anything !

The lifts r not big enough but we used stairs a lot but would always book Viking if we ever went back to Blackpool

The rooms need to be modernised though, bit dated.
Decor in rooms, very dated
We were well looked after by all the staff, who were very helpful and welcoming. The food, breakfast and dinner, was exceptional, with a special mention to the waiting-on staff, they are a credit to the hotel. Initially we weren’t too enamoured with our allocated room, but the reception staff were happy to relocate us to a much better room, which was excellent. Entertainment was top notch and the cabaret lounge staff were also very efficient.
Internet was rather weak on the 4th floor but it didn’t detract from a lovely stay.

Only downside was the taps in the bathroom, on the bathroom, front and back were disgusting/filthy,

So called funny man, every other word was f---k & also speaking about ladies private issues, didn't find him remotely funny!
