It was brilliant staff ,food ,drinks was all good i would recommend and iam definitely going back the staff couldn't do anuf for you they go beyond for you nothing is to much and its the best sleep I've had in a hotel for ages I was deading parking but no even that was good fantastic it made may stay there well worth it
There was nothink about the hotel that I didnt like
On the other had family with kids im not saying all but when family's got kids and let them run over the furniture well that was discussing no respect and ive got kids and they would of never had done that
Love the location, not far to walk into town centre. Food was great and plenty of it. Staff are polite and efficient. It’s pretty clean but some areas are worn so don’t look good even though they are reasonably clean although I must add the seating in lounge area is a bit grubby especially the arms of the sofas, it’s ingrained dirt from what looks like greasy/sweaty hands and because those sofas are made of cloth they’re probably impossible to keep clean. Room was lovely with a big window so had plenty of fresh circulating air and it was at the rear of the hotel, was a little bit noisy from traffic and revellers but we did sleep well, beds are very comfortable. Bathroom a little outdated but perfectly usable, also had a large opening window.
In need of improvements in some areas but it’s a busy hotel so it constantly takes a bashing.
Entertainment room isn’t big enough to accommodate all guests, there are other seating areas but if you’re going to see the “stars” you might be disappointed.
Not enough wall sockets.
Everything was excellent from the room to the staff ,entertainment and food no complaints at all.
Needs maybe some entertainment during the day.

Very poor decor inside and out, quite shabby. Only 1 lift for the whole building and disabled facilities quite poor especially leading to the bedrooms

I liked everything about the claremont hotel all inclusive the room was very spacious the beds were comfy and I liked the fact we had a bath and a shower staff were very helpful the food was delicious and the fact you can use the bar from 12o clock dinner till 12 midnight the entertainment was also very good everything about the hotel suited me first time staying there going back for 2 days on the 11th September

Our 2nd stay now at the claremont. The location is good for us.
Had 2 rooms now only thing we dont like are shower over the bath
Great position. Great Value for Money. Excellent Food and Staff were all superb, very friendly and helpful.
Obviously an old property whilst very clean could do with updating but that doesn’t detract from a great value stay.
