i am going there again
Pros:

breakfast, swimming pool, room was large , location was good tram stop outside, entertainment every night , beer prices on par with other places, also like period feature that are still left in hotel,

Cons:

one waitress a bit patronising , sweetie sweetheart darling start and end of every sentance, needs training again, im a pensioner and felt like she was talking to a child

Very handy location , central to what we were doing , but definitely wouldn’t book again in a hurry

Cons:

The room was quite dirty and dusty and smelled of cigarette smoke , not enough coffee, tea and milk for two
Tiles and grout in bathroom had mould on them

We arrived and checked in and was told evening meals was until 8pm. So went out and came back got ready came down at 7.40 to be told we could only have a main meal as we had to come down for 7.30. The receptionist told us till 8. So I spoke to a cocky manager and he told me that it says all around the hotel that it says that we had to be down 30 mins before. No it doesn't. We looked at the menu and nothing on there says that. Not a happy customer 😒

Excellent value
Pros:

All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bedrooms were really clean and comfortable.

The restaurant was spacious and comfortable with tables not too close together, and the food choice and quality was amazing, being Gluten intolerant I was happy to see so much choice I could have.

The location is perfect, especially with having the tram stop right outside.

Excellent value for money.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was the first impression as we walked in, the carpet in the reception area and especially the bar area really needs a deep clean or replacing.

Pros:

Great relaxing break hotel is spotless room was very comfortable and clean and spacious. Entertainment was absolutely great especially the comedian last night (Tuesday)was so funny ..and the singer Robbie who sings all the rock was brilliant loved his queen tracks. Staff always very helpful and loved the bingo of an evening... Food is plentiful and moorish. Overall had a great time. Can't wait to return . Highly recommend
