Needed a short getaway from Delhi-NCR and booked a two night, all meals inclusive stay at the Taj Agra. It's large property with 200+ rooms, that remains busy during the week with banquet events and on weekends with domestic tourists such as myself. I'd requested for an early check-in, which was provided without any issues. I found the room spacious & comfortable and the staff very friendly & hospitable. I was kept entertained by the two swimming pools on the property. The rooftop pool is infinity-style and offers a view of the Taj Mahal, while the pool on the 2nd floor is smaller and sans view, but is slightly deeper, less busy and also open later than the rooftop pool.
However, the main attraction of my stay was the all-day dining restaurant Palato. Serving an impressive selection of 70+ dishes through buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner, Palato is a delight for foodies such as myself. To be able to churn out so many dishes flawlessly, so many times a day, every day, feeding close to 500 people at each meal, is a credit to the F&B machinery of the hotel! But what was even more than the restaurant and the food it churned out was the quality of its staff. Starting from its chefs Ashish and Ravi, to the restaurant managers Prabhat and Jafar, to its wait staff (Ankit, Karan, Lata and Pratyush to name a few), everyone was extremely attentive & hospitable and made me feel like a VIP. After a few disappointing stays at some bigger name Taj properties, the attention & pampering I received at the Taj Agra, specifically at Palato, reminded me what Taj hospitality is truly capable of!
The only point of improvement I can state for the hotel is the addition of a games room for the massive tourist inflow it receives over the weekend. Despite identifying itself as a business hotel! :)
The location, the food, the staff. Main attraction was the view of the Taj from the roof terrace swimming pool.
Fire le number of staff in the ground floor restaurant there was long wait. We asked for things which either did not come or was incorrect. It the room is booked for for then we should not have only two towels.
The main issue for me was house staff and others on their personal phones talking or texting. I would not expect in my office for staff to be on the phone for personal reasons. Just a bad look

No welcoming treat, I know from Taj Palace that welcome treat is with sweets and fruits
But we had nothing,
Bath tube was not working properly so we used once and we had water all over the bathroom
The fridge was empty!! Which is for a 5 star hotel weird!
We were 3 adults and got only 2 of accessories so needed to ask for stuff we need all the time
During our stay at Taj Agra, Kumud recommended the famous mocktail, and we absolutely loved the variety and quality of the food. What impressed us even more was her attentive and personalized service. She made us feel valued as guests and ensured everything was perfect throughout our meal. Looking forward to visiting again!
We had access to the Club Lounge during our stay at Taj Agra, and the experience was exceptional. Kumud attended to us with a genuine smile and ensured we were comfortable at all times. She was very attentive, courteous, and professional. Her recommendations for the food and beverages were excellent. It's staff members like her who truly enhance the guest experience.
I recently stayed at Taj Agra and had a wonderful experience. Kumud looked after us throughout our visit and made sure everything was perfect. She suggested the grilled specialties, which were absolutely delicious, and also recommended the buffet, which had an amazing variety of food. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. Thank you, Kumud, for the excellent service!

Taj Agra welcomed us once again in our ongoing family vacation
Since we stayed at Taj- Jai Mahal Place at Jaipur during our ongoing vacation so the standards set by them were really high , but we were equally delighted to Visit Taj Agra
Location is perfect right next to east gate of Taj Mahal 🏰, the hospitality was super awesome right from traditional welcome with Sindoor Tika on forehead and a Tulsi Mala (Most Pious)
The check-in experience was great it was very swift
Special mention to the travel desk (Mr Wilson and Our EV driver Mr Rajesh they really helped us to visit Taj at right time with utmost convenience otherwise we might have missed visiting Taj since on Friday the Monument is closed for Public
Breakfast spread and quality of food was super good having right mix of continental and local authentic food
The Jalebi and Poori Aloo was very tasty even after two days i can still feel the taste in my mind
Checking out was also great
The Lady during our checkout helped with right discounting and membership points
Met Mr Randhir and Mr Rahul , Mr Randhir’s personality suited his name as per Bollywood star

We had a great stay at the Taj Agra. Wilson, the concierge was got in touch prior to our arrival in India to help us navigate our onward journey options to Jaipur. This was super helpful as he was also on hand to help us book a car and tour guide for our visit to the Taj Mahal.
The hotel is a perfect refuge away from the crowds but close enough to feel that you are not far at all from the Taj Mahal.
