Bohemia Suites & Spa - Adults Only

We recently stayed at the Bohemia, and even though we struggled to work out where to drive into once we pulled up, as soon as we were met by staff we had the warmest welcome.
Our room wasn’t quite ready and we were treated to a cocktail at the pool bar, and while there we had a light lunch. Again, friendly service, good cocktails and a very scenic location.

The hotel is modern, clean and very well appointed, there will be something there for everyone, from a hairdresser, spa or just chilling by the pool. The restaurant on the top floor has the most amazing views, it’s called 360 for a reason! This is where breakfast is held, where again the staff are the most attentive you could wish for. After a couple of days, we didn’t even need to ask for our hot drinks, they just turned up after we were seated! The food choice felt a bit limited to me, but it was all delicious.

Location wise, you could walk to the beach within 10-12 minutes or if you’re driving, there’s a huge car park near all the bars and restaurants and a short walk to hit the beach. It’s also near the shopping centers where you will find bars and restaurants etc.

Ok, I do like being honest in my reviews, and the only complaints I would have are with the room. We opted for a hot tub lodge, which is on a large terrace. The hot tub isn’t filled up on arrival, you can fill it up daily as you need it. Initially we thought this would be ok as it meant less chemicals on our body, but it does take around an hour to fill up and it will take some planning. For instance, if we filled it up in the afternoon, the water came out of the tap extremely hot, so you couldn’t get into the hot tub. The other thing, despite us asking a couple of times, the hot tub wasn’t cleaned and as much as we tried ourselves, we couldn’t clean it properly so we gave up trying to use it after a few days. This was a shame as it would’ve been a perfect way to unwind in the evening.

There was also a dishwasher in the lodge, we filled it up and used it with the tablet provided, as the dirty glasses, plates etc weren’t being washed but after that, we weren’t given any more tablets and the dishes just stayed in the dishwasher, although we were given clean stuff every day, so this was a bit weird.

Other than that, a perfectly enjoyable stay and we have already booked to return in November!

My partner and I had an incredible four night stay at Hotel Bohemia. The whole hotel has a funky, modern artsy vibe that we loved— there is art throughout that makes you want to wander the space like a gallery as much as a hotel. It turns out that the adult-only rule was extremely helpful for our preferences, and the pool bar hours are adjusted accordingly, which was great for our schedule—we love to enjoy the pool after the most intense heat and sun for the day has passed.

The room was very well-appointed and maintained, and housekeeping was impeccable. The staff were literally always available for anything that we needed and extraordinarily helpful.

My partner has celiac disease and so one of the most important considerations for us is if a hotel can provide gluten-free food with no cross-contamination. While I had a lot of trouble getting confirmation from previous customers that the hotel could deliver on this, I want everyone to know that they did so flawlessly! They offer a beautiful breakfast spread and were extremely accommodating to his need for gluten-free food. We are American and so don’t specifically need gluten-free bread at every meal or special GF pancakes or pastries– we are more concerned about keeping food that should be safe/uncontaminated free of gluten. Bohemia delivered on this and so much more—they offered an excellent gluten free baguette as well as gluten free pastries that changed each day to give variety. We could tell they have the safety protocols down, he did not get sick, so we felt very safe in their hands.

For me, their hot breakfast was one of my favorites I’ve had at any hotel, in terms of food quality. And their cocktails are also great—much more inspired and artisanal than the area’s typical Sex on the Beach and Blue Hawaiian offering. Of note: while I’m generally skeptical of sangrias, the sophistication of their other cocktails got me to give it a shot and they proved that even sangria can be excellent.

A wonderful stay that really hit the spot for us all around!

Fantastic stay from the moment we checked in. Every member of staff were great, friendly and attentive. The place was stunning and incredibly clean. Room was superb and clean. We were half board and we couldn’t fault breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Relaxing atmosphere with lounge music all around. Lots of trees ans plants to make your stay of healthy vibes. flowers are beautiful. Luxurious surrounding anywhere you go in the hotel.

My deluxe room is amazing, very comfy and very clean with all amenities you need for your stay. They have all internationals tv program and you can chromecast everything from your phone.

The value is excellent specially if you go half board.

The hotel is very quiet and your windows are noise proof for ultimate rest and beautiful night of rest.

Services are high level of professionalism. From the housekeeper through F&B staff passing by the beauty salon everything and everyone are there for you to get the time of your holidays

A fabulous adults only hotel in a quiet area set back from the beach. We chose a Studio as we wanted a kitchen to give us options including a large fridge which turned out to be a good decision. The room was lovely with 2 balconies, one with 2 illuminating chairs and table, the other with a swing chair and stool. The rooms were well furnished and immaculately clean. The hotel has two pool areas with spas and numerous small areas scattered around where you can relax in the shade away from the pools. The cleanliness and attention to detail of all these areas is on a par with the high standards applied to the rooms. The pool bar service was equally impressive and they also serve a good range of foods. In the evening the focus switches to the 360 rooftop bar / restaurant which is a lovely place to finish the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We went for a reset break and spent everyday around the pool relaxing which just what the Dr ordered. We rarely return to a resort but if we ever did this hotel would be top of our list.

Staff are always friends and welcoming, great location and food

My partner and I stayed for two weeks in a corner junior suite. I haven't got much to add to other reviews as although we had a nice time, a few things fell short for us, hence the 4 out of 5. When spending almost 5000 euros on a hotel, I would expect a welcome note from the Guest Relations Manager welcoming us to the hotel, which is pretty standard. We had two complimentary beers and some dried banana. A note costs absolutely nothing.
We were half board which we regretted, as breakfast was extremely limited so we stopped going after a few days. We also found the dinner menu a little limited also, especially after the first week, so we walked down to Playa Del Ingles for a few nights to break the monotony. I give credit to the staff, however, who were great, especially Guillermo and Jose Luis who keeps it all running smoothly.
During the last few days of our stay there was some loud banging in a room above us, which, having read other reviews, seems to be renovation work which was not forewarned by the hotel.
Last, I have attached a photo of the pizza that you can get from a machine at the hotel. As you can see, for 17 euros you get a whole four pepperoni slices! I think this above everything sums up the hotel. Value questionable. I would return, but only for a weekend or so. For two weeks I felt too restricted.

First time to Maspalomas, and I have to admit I'm not a fan of the area. First time also in a Design hotel associated to Marriott as a Platinum.
The staff is simply amazing! They care, they smile, they are ready to help any time. Was upgraded to a nice junior suite with seaview. There is not much recognition as a Platinum beside this...the reason for it may be very simple, they treat every guest as a VIP. Welcome drink, you choose what you prefer at the bar...simple minibar, but it's complimentary...and the list continue!

If you find yourself in Maspalomas, I'm pretty sure this is the best hotel around!

An outstanding hotel experience from start to finish. Everything about my stay in Gran Canaria was fantastic. The staff were professional, welcoming and always willing to help, making me feel valued throughout my visit.

The gym deserves special recognition – exceptionally clean, well-equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Housekeeping was equally impressive, with excellent attention to detail and consistently spotless rooms. The overall standard of maintenance throughout the property was excellent.

The dining experience was another highlight. The food quality, presentation and service reflected a true fine dining experience and exceeded my expectations. Parking is available for an additional fee and was well managed.

A particularly thoughtful touch was that I was celebrating my birthday during my stay and the hotel kindly surprised me with a lovely cake. It was a genuinely appreciated gesture that made my stay feel even more special and demonstrated the hotel's attention to guest experience.

Bohemia Suites & Spa delivers a premium experience with exceptional service, outstanding facilities and attention to detail that is difficult to fault. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gran Canaria.

Construction , from 08.00 in the morning till evening. Booked a suite of 350 euro a night , no rest only noise .

Very good check in experience- front of house staff very helpful and made me feel most welcome. Hotel clean and modern with superb view from restaurant on 8th floor. Breakfast excellent with good input and help from kitchen and table staff. All seemed really happy to be there! Hotel excellently placed - 5 min walk to beach and situated down quiet street. Would certainly visit again.

I’m hard to please but I found this hotel faultless.. from the minute we walked in it was special. Great helpful friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Attention to detail and pool areas amazing I could even swim in the pool as it wasn’t ice cold. Rooms were beautiful.. an absolute pleasure to stay in.. will be back ..
