Πολυ μικρό μπάνιο και παντελής αγνόηση του επανειλημμένου αιτήματός μας από το τμήμα κρατήσεων

Παρότι είχαμε ενημερώσει επανειλημμένα μέσω email, πριν από την άφιξή μας, ότι επιθυμούσαμε τα δύο δωμάτιά μας να βρίσκονται στον ίδιο όροφο και ότι η κράτησή μας αφορούσε ένα δίκλινο και ένα τρίκλινο δωμάτιο, κατά το check-in μάς παραχωρήθηκαν δύο δίκλινα δωμάτια. Ως αποτέλεσμα, το τρίτο παιδί μας αναγκάστηκε να κοιμηθεί σε πολυθρόνα-κρεβάτι αντί για κανονικό κρεβάτι, η οποία ήταν εξαιρετικά άβολη και σε καμία περίπτωση δεν ανταποκρινόταν στις προδιαγραφές μιας τρίκλινης διαμονής.
Όταν εκφράσαμε τη δυσαρέσκειά μας, η λύση που μας προτάθηκε ήταν να διαμείνουν τα τρία ανήλικα παιδιά μας (15, 15 και 13 ετών) μόνα τους σε τρίκλινο δωμάτιο, σε διαφορετικό όροφο από τους γονείς τους. Θεωρούμε ότι η πρόταση αυτή ήταν ανεύθυνη και απαράδεκτη, καθώς αγνοούσε βασικές παραμέτρους ασφάλειας που αφορούν ανήλικους επισκέπτες. Σε περίπτωση έκτακτης ανάγκης, όπως πυρκαγιά, σεισμός ή οποιοδήποτε ιατρικό περιστατικό, η άμεση πρόσβαση των γονέων στα παιδιά τους θα ήταν αδύνατη ή, στην καλύτερη περίπτωση, σημαντικά καθυστερημένη.
Η συγκεκριμένη αντιμετώπιση δημιούργησε την εντύπωση ότι η ασφάλεια των πελατών, και ιδιαίτερα των ανήλικων παιδιών, δεν αντιμετωπίζεται με τη σοβαρότητα που θα ανέμενε κανείς από ένα ξενοδοχείο αυτής της κατηγορίας. Η πρόταση να φιλοξενηθούν τρία ανήλικα παιδιά σε διαφορετικό όροφο από τους γονείς τους δεν συνάδει, κατά την άποψή μας, με τις βασικές αρχές ασφάλειας, υπευθυνότητας και ποιοτικής φιλοξενίας.
Εξίσου απογοητευτική ήταν και η στάση της υπαλλήλου της υποδοχής. Αντί να επιδείξει κατανόηση, να αναζητήσει μια ασφαλή και επαγγελματική λύση ή έστω να ζητήσει συγγνώμη για την ταλαιπωρία που προκλήθηκε, μας απάντησε χαρακτηριστικά: «Καλύτερα να πηγαίνατε σε Airbnb και όχι εδώ.»
Η συγκεκριμένη δήλωση ήταν προσβλητική, αντιεπαγγελματική και παντελώς ασύμβατη με το επίπεδο εξυπηρέτησης που εύλογα αναμένει κανείς από ένα ξενοδοχείο αυτής της κατηγορίας. Αντί να συμβάλει στην επίλυση του προβλήματος, όξυνε περαιτέρω την ήδη δυσάρεστη εμπειρία μας και άφησε τη
