Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that hotel policy requires Muslim couples checking in to produce a marriage certificate upon arrival at the hotel. Kindly contact the hotel's front desk for further information.

Охранник который помог нам со сменой номера когда ночью в нашем номере не работал кондиционер

По прибытию еще раз взяли деньги за продивание, хотя при бронировании снимали деньги с карты на букинге. Говорили что эти деньги вернутся на карту. Мы отказывались платить еще раз а они отказывались заселять. У нас не было времени так как нам было надо переночевать на одну ночь и искать с чемоданами новле место сил уже не было. Оплатили еще раз. А первое списание еще не вернули. Поддержка букинга все еще молчит.
Плюс дополнительно какие то деньги на налоги запрашивают которое не было указано

Cons:

La chambres est ok. Il y a le strict minimum, la douche qui tombe au dessus des toilettes, le matelas est très dur... on sent que le moindre mètre carré est optimisé. Mais c'est ok si vous voulez être bien situés dans le centre et que vous ne venez pas pour le confort. Très propre, c'est agréable.

Je n'ai pas apprécié le fait que nous souhaitions y retourner une nuit à la fin de notre séjour, mais qu'ils nous ont refusé l'option early check-in. Ils nous ont dit de soit booker la nuit entière soit d'appeler à 3h du matin (heure de notre retour à George Town) pour voir s'il y avait des chambres de libre. Bien entendu, on n'a pas pris de risques et on a booké un autre hotel ... J'aurais apprécié qu'ils fassent un geste et qu'ils acceptent un early check-in pour y rester la nuit suivante (surtout qu'on a proposé de le payer...). En tant que service client, je trouve que ce n'est pas professionnel et ça nous laisse un goût amer. Ils ne sont pas du tout arrangeants et c'est dommage car ça ne leur coûtait pas grand chose...

Quick and easy
Pros:

The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly.
The location is strategically enough to walk around town.
Air purifier inside the room is a plus point.

Cons:

Improvement needed for cleanliness. Even on ad hoc weekday trip - the room is not at par: Shampoo was not refilled, got mosquito inside the room and i can see hair strands on the floor.

Pros:

Staff were friendly, location is very convenient (close to e.g. The Blue Mansion), nice that it's a little isolated from Chulia Street itself since that can get noisier at night.

Cons:

Couldn't get an early check-in (but that's fine since it's not guaranteed), common bathroom was very small so hard to change in before I checked in. Bathroom for Petite Double Room was smaller than expected (basically the showerhead is right on top of the toilet + sink, so everything will get wet). Also wasn't clear that a RM100 deposit was required until shortly before checking in. All reasonable for the price but just be prepared that it's a 3-star hotel at the end of the day.
