Property was clean , could maybe do with a freshen up looks abit dated and worn. Maybe add Tv into the bedrooms .

A great base from which to enjoy the attractions of Athlone. A friendly town.
Pros:

Comfortable accommodation close to town centre.

Cons:

The stairs because some of the group had mobility problems.

The Perfect Stay for Solo Women Travelling
Pros:

What an exceptionally well-run bed and breakfast! Delicious morning meals served fresh, regularly cleaned accomodations, and helpful instruction for multiple languages posted throughout the home.

Hosts were easily accessible, friendly, and absolutely a joy to interact with.

I can't reccomend this place enough for single women travellers. The second floor rooms felt secure, windows were able to be opened for ventilation / A/C needs and I was always so elated to be able to return there to rest after long days out and about. Perfect walking distance from the Athlone train station.

Room size was perfect. Make sure you bring an adapter to charge international items - there's plenty of tech shops nearby if you forget though!

It's right where all the go-to Athlone venues are and nondescript. Very safe to walk to after a night enjoying the Athlone pubs. Plenty of surveillance and the open front door during daylight hours doesn't feel unsafe at all given the multiple levels of security past it.

This will be my go to whenever I'm in Ireland!

Can’t beat the location for convenience and easy walk to scenic river walkway and friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

Great location close to stores, restaurants,pubs, and close to scenic Shannon River walk that is a short walk to the town. Managers staff and owner went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and liked having shelves in closet and luggage rack.

Cons:

No chair or table but that was made clear from description of the room so not expected.

Tolles B&B in ruhiger und doch zentraler Lge.
Pros:

Sehr nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereiten Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück, kostenloser Parkplatz. Kurzer Weg zur Innenstadt. Guter Tipp für Irlands ältesten Pub, der Abrnd dort war toll.
